As we’ve all known for some time now, Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event is coming back, starting October 9th and will continue until the end of the month. Jeff Kaplan mentioned in an interview that Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event is his favorite time of the year, and we couldn’t agree more. Not that the other events aren’t good, there’s just something about the Halloween event that excites OW players around the world.
If you’ve been playing Overwatch for a while, you already know the drill - with every event, there are plenty of new skins and other character cosmetics, and while the new legendary Halloween skins cost 3,000 gold, you can get legendary skins from previous Halloween Terror events for just 1,000!
Now let’s dive into the new Overwatch Halloween Terror event Legendary skins!
The skins that were first revealed were the new Moira, Doomfist legendary skins, as well as a new Widow epic:
In my opinion, Moira hasn't had the best of luck with skins so far, and so it's nice to see this powerful support character getting her own Halloween legendary skin! The Banshee Moira skin itself is nothing spectacular but it's definitely better looking, and most importantly, different looking compared to her previous skins. So, as a Moira player, I hope the God of loot boxes grants me this one!
Doomfist has had some, let's call them, 'interesting' skins in the past and this one fits that description as well. The Swamp Monster skin looks a bit scary and rightfully so. Can't say I'm a big fan of this one, but I hope Doomfist players do enjoy it!
To be fair, despite this new Spider Widow skin not being a legendary, it still looks kind of badass. But Widowmaker always looks cool, it seems like Blizzard can't mess this one up even if they wanted to.
These three skins were followed by the reveal of a new Wrecking Ball and a new Pharah legendary skin :
I think everyone could guess that Hammond (as we like to call him) was going to get a Halloween skin. And I have to say, even though it's pretty much exactly what I have imagined, this Jack-o-Lantern skin is without a doubt my favorite Wrecking Ball skin. Not sure which looks more evil, his face or his Mech, well, they both do and it looks awesome!
Didn't see that one coming, but I'm definitely glad it is! Pharah's Enchanted Armor skin looks hauntingly beautiful, well that's maybe taking it a bit too far. It actually looks weird, without the head and all, but the good kind of weird. I guess what I'm trying to say is - it looks cool! Praying to the loot boxes God for this one as well!
There will surely be plenty more to come and we'll now all about once the event kicks in tomorrow. Be sure to check all of our Overwatch Boosting Services!
