Acquiring the Malfeasance Catalyst requires participation in playlist activities, including Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit matches. However, the drop chance of the Catalyst is entirely based on luck, and there's an additional requirement to fulfill: owning the Malfeasance Exotic Weapon. If you haven't unlocked Malfeasance before attempting to obtain the Catalyst, it won't drop, regardless of the number of matches you complete.
The Malfeasance Catalyst significantly enhances the Malfeasance Exotic Weapon, offering two key benefits:
• Increased range: +20 Range Points, allowing you to take out targets at longer distances.
