Seer - Tips and Tricks Guide

Seer made an impressive entrance in season 10 of Apex Legends, and since then, he is one of the most powerful characters, especially in enclosed spaces.

Seer is a tracker, who is perfect for finding the enemy’s location and surprising him with an ambush. Seer's abilities are limited to the range, so you should always know how far your enemies are located in order to choose the right weapon. Furthermore, if you want to have successful fights, well, you better keep in contact with your team. 

Now, let's get to the tips and tricks. Firstly, do not overuse your abilities, make sure you use each of them at the right moment, instead of mixing them together. Seer is not an easy hero, so you will need to master his abilities. However, this does not mean playing passively. If you want a successful fight, you need to be aggressive and bush harder after one of your abilities was turned.

Secondly, keep in mind that Seer is not a mobile character, nor does he has escape tools. He is very powerful, especially when it comes to surveillance, but if he gets into a difficult situation, he can hardly get out of it. Keep that in mind – you should always find the right position, and be aggressive, but not overestimate your skills.

Thirdly, be aware that his head hitbox is bigger than the average one, and even though it makes him look great, it may be an issue in some moments. It is not a big thing, but it is a weakness. So, a tip – Seer’s hat can not be shot, but there is a small part, near the head, which can be – keep it safe! After all, in Apex Legends the headshots are an often situation!

Seer's Passive Ability is called Heat Seeker and when using it, he can see the heartbeat of the enemies around him if he is aiming down sights. Honestly, this is one of his best abilities. When the heartbeat is getting bigger, it means that Seer is getting closer to the enemy. This makes it easier to understand his location and share it with his enemies.

And let's get to the tips – Heart Seeker will detect any enemy located within a maximum of 75 meters from Seer. You better use it with Focus of Attention – you first find the location of the enemy, then shoot your shot and interrupt him. 

Keep in mind that Seer's Passive Ability can work in 3 dimensions – around you, below, and above you. And you can easily aim down sights without needing a weapon. One trick – check your surroundings often, to make sure no new enemies are coming around. For avoiding visual clutter during a fight, you can easily toggle the Heart Seeker effect.

Even though the Passive ability is more than great, it is not as perfect as we want it to be. And by that, we mean that when you are close enough to your enemy, the arrow pointing at him is disappearing. This makes it harder for Seer to understand their location.

Seer Tactical ability is extraordinary, but also difficult to master. He can summon his micro-drones which will emit blasts that can easily go through walls. After the tunnel is sent, all enemies within will be revealed for 8 seconds. Keep in mind that the affected enemies will have their abilities affected too, which means that you and your team will have a chance to make a great attack. You will also see a health bar which will be placed above the enemy's heads. 

And now, let's get to the tips and tricks – you should be aware that Focus of Attention can be easily wasted if you do not use it wisely. If you want to have the best possible results – combine it with your passive ability! To do that you can hold the button of the Tactical ability, and you will get the effect of the passive, which will make it much easier for you to find your enemies.

Furthermore, you must be prepared for the 1.6 seconds delay which will come after making the tunnel and actually having its effect. Even though there may be a delay, the tunnel is super powerful, especially if you use it for interrupting a revive. This means that the best use of Seer's tactical ability is when there is an offensive moment, immediately after you have cracked an enemy.

Seer's Ultimate ability gives him the chance to make a sphere built of micro-drones, which can easily reveal the locations of the enemy teams who are moving or using their weapons. The sphere lasts for 30 seconds, and during those seconds every enemy who used his weapon will leave his footsteps to Seer. However, even though this ability is great if the enemies are not moving, crouch-walking, or even flying – Seer can not see them!

Keep in mind that the effect of Exhibit can be ended if an enemy destroys the heart chamber of Seer. A pro tip – you have two situations in which the Ultimate ability can be perfectly used – the first one is when you are at the final circle, you can force the enemies to play slowly, otherwise, you will reveal their locations. And the second situation is when you are about to enter a third-party fight.

But how can you see the enemies? All the revealed ones will be shown on the map as red arrows. You should also be aware that you do not need a line of sight for the Exhibit to be effective, which leads to one very good trick – better leave the heart of the chamber behind an object, or under some kind of a cover, so it will be harder for the other team to destroy it.
