Warzone seasonal rewards are cosmetic items you earn by completing specific ranked challenges before a season ends. The challenges split into two tracks: elimination milestones and placement milestones. Elimination challenges count your total kills or assists across all ranked matches, with rewards unlocking at set thresholds (typically a weapon sticker at the lowest tier, a loading screen at mid-tier, and an exclusive weapon camo at the highest). Placement challenges track how many times you finish in the top bracket of a match, with rewards like weapon decals, blueprints, and charms tied to progressively harder targets. The final placement reward usually requires a first-place finish. These seasonal cosmetics are separate from the division-based rewards you get for your overall SR rank at the end of a season. Division rewards (operator skins, animated emblems, calling cards) depend on your peak Skill Division, while seasonal challenge rewards depend purely on grinding out those specific kill and placement numbers within the time limit.

Ranked mode uses strict SBMM, so every lobby is filled with players at or near your skill level. That means consistent top placements aren't something you can stumble into, and the kill thresholds demand sustained performance across many sessions. Weapon and attachment restrictions in ranked play also limit your loadout options, removing some of the most popular guns and setups from rotation each season. On top of that, placement challenges need you to finish in the top bracket repeatedly (often 25 times), not just once. Random squad fills make this even harder since coordination with strangers rarely matches what a dedicated team can pull off. For players with limited time each week, these stacking requirements can turn a seasonal grind into something that just isn't realistic before the deadline hits.
