Cloudstrike (Exotic Sniper) Guide

Introe

Looking to dish out some serious damage on your enemies and other players in Destiny 2: Beyond Light? Then you need to get your hands on some epic weapons. And one of the most sought-after guns is the Exotic sniper rifle, Cloudstrike. But beware, getting your hands on this beauty requires some work.

Firstly, you'll need to grind through the Empire Hunts game mode, hoping for Cloudstrike to drop randomly. This isn't an easy task, but hey, nothing good comes easy, right? So let's dive in.

Start off by talking to Variks, the new Beyond Light NPC. Once you've completed his questline after the campaign, Empire Hunts will become available. Don't forget to finish up his Sabotage quests too - they'll be essential for what comes next.

Once you're ready to take on Empire Hunts, get ready to face a series of challenging hunts. But don't worry, it'll all be worth it when Cloudstrike finally drops. Be sure to have a solid team with you and plenty of patience because the grind can be a bit tedious.

So get out there and get hunting, Guardians. And remember, the road to Cloudstrike is a long one, but the reward is definitely worth it.

How To Get It?

Ahoy there, Guardian! Are you ready to learn how to get your hands on the Exotic sniper rifle, Cloudstrike, in Destiny 2: Beyond Light? Of course, you are! It's time to dish out some serious damage to your foes and other players.

First things first, let's get the ball rolling by speaking to Variks, the Beyond Light NPC, to start a mission called Old Secrets, New Challenges. Don't worry, you won't be left in the dark with this quest as you'll have an objective to guide you. Follow the instructions, head to the designated spot on Europa's map, and launch the mission to begin the Exo Challenge.

Once the mission is completed, it's time to locate the Exo Stranger and pick up another quest called A Hard Rain Falls. This will require Guardians to kill enemies or beat activities in Eclipse Zones on Europa. How do you find these zones, you may ask? Just pull up Europa's Destination map, and look for areas that have the "Eclipse" status. Simple, right?

After finishing both missions, you'll unlock the last set of Sabotage quests from Variks. To progress, Guardians will need to beat Europan Explorer 1 and 2, in that exact order. Europan Explorer 1 requires players to use a farming spot to get kills with Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. This should be easy enough to complete. Once done, head back to Variks to grab Europan Explorer 2, where you'll need to eliminate 30 powerful enemies in Empire Hunts. Pick up these assignments from Variks and look for orange and yellow bar tier enemies throughout. It may take some time, but with patience and persistence, you'll eventually reach the finish line.

Finally, the moment you've been waiting for: Elective Difficulty Empire Hunts. This is where Cloudstrike can actually drop. You'll need to grind the missions until it finally drops. Keep in mind that the drop rate does not get higher if a harder version of the Hunt is beaten. So just grab the easiest ones to run the missions faster. Playing in a fireteam can help get this done quicker, but it's really just a matter of time.

Now that you've got your shiny new Cloudstrike sniper rifle, it's time to unleash some lightning bolts on your enemies! Don't forget to learn how to use the weapon effectively, and who knows, maybe one day you'll be the one everyone is chasing for that Exotic drop!

Stats and Perks

Ah, the Cloudstrike, a lightning-fast Exotic Sniper Rifle that brings the thunder! This bad boy comes equipped with the Mortal Polarity buff, which makes every precision final blow a thing of beauty. Not only does the target go down with a satisfying thud, but a lightning strike will come down and smite anyone unlucky enough to be standing nearby. That's what we call a two-for-one special!

But wait, there's more! If players can manage to chain together multiple precision shots, they'll earn the Stormbringer buff, which unleashes a full-on lightning storm at the target location. It's like having a mini-tempest in your pocket!

Now, let's take a closer look at Cloudstrike's stats. With an impact of 55, it's not the hardest-hitting Sniper Rifle out there, but its mid-range capabilities make it a versatile weapon for taking out foes at a distance. Plus, it has a magazine size of 7, so you can rattle off a few shots before needing to reload. And with a stability rating of 54 and handling of 51, you'll be able to keep your shots on target even while under fire.

Overall, the Cloudstrike is a must-have weapon for any Guardian looking to bring the thunder in PvE. Just remember to keep your aim true and your enemies will be shocked, literally!
