Destiny 2 Dawning 2022

The Dawning event is back again, and is getting us all in the spirit of giving. As always, the Guardians are baking some tasty cookies for the NPCs by dealing with all the enemies and finishing the activities they have to. This event is full of rewards, weapons and some titles for the players, and of course – with fun activities. Today we have prepared for you a detailed review and preparation for the event, so you can have great time and many awards.

The Dawning is one of the most popular Destiny 2 events that is happening every winter. It will be available between 13th  of December and 3rd of January for all the players who have fulfilled the entry requirements. During the event all guardians have the chance of using Eva Levante’s oven and baking some delicious cookies for the vendors. What do they get in return? Some amazing gifts. 

The rewards this year are more than amazing, so you should definitely take advantage of having the chance of joining. The Dawning is one great way to get weapons and other gifts. This event is not intrusive, but it has definitely prepared some pretty attractive rewards. How can you get them? All you need to do is play Destiny 2, defeating your enemies and getting the needed ingredients to bake some treats for the vendors, where you can exchange the treats for loot.
Dawning Requirements and Rewards

Destiny 2 Dawning 2022 event is free for every player that has the free version of the game – New Light. If you want to participate in the event, all you need to do is to get to the Tower Courtyard and talk to Eva Levante. She will give you the chance to start participating in the event.

What about the rewards? Well, when creating some delicious cookies for the vendors, you will be getting gifts in return. For every vendor that you have gifted you will have the opportunity to of receiving a gift box with rewards. The gifts available are various and they include powerful weapons, titles such as Stay Frost Pulse Rifle, Edgy Gift Exchange, Unity Gift Exchange, Avalanche Machine Gun, Gold Front Submachine Gun and many more.

In order to cook the recipes in Eva’s Holiday Oven, you will have to collect the materials you need. You can simply do that by going out in the world of Destiny 2, fighting all your enemies and defeating them. Furthermore, some activities have to be done for collecting the materials. Some of those activities are the Dawning 2022 Bounties.

Once you speak to Eva Levante in the tower, you will see three types of bounties available for you – The Weekly Bounties, the Additional Bounties and the Daily Bounties. Each of them includes various tasks and give you some great rewards. The daily bounties are a source of materials, the weekly ones will give you bright dust and essence of dawning, and the additional bounties – materials and bright dust.

And the most important part – the recipes you will be cooking in the oven. So, in the table below we have provided you with all the treats and the materials you need in order to make them. Furthermore, you will also see the vendors you should get the treat to:

• Gjallardoodles – you need Ether Cane and Delicious Explosion and you should give it to Commander Zavala
• Chocolate Ship Cookies – you need Cabal Oil and Null taste, and you should give it to Amanda Holliday
• Traveller Donut Holes – you need Cabal Oil and Flash of Inspiration, and you should give it to Ikora Rey.
• Telemetry Tapioca – you need Vex Milk and Bullet Spray, and you should give it to Banshee-44
• Gentleman’s Shortbread – you need Ether Cane and Perfect Touch, and you should give it to Devrim Kay
• Ascendant Oatmeal Raisin Cookies – you need Chitin Powder and Finishing Touch, and you should give it to Eris Morn
• Eliksni Birdseed – you need Ether Cane and Personal Touch, and you should give it to Suraya Hawthorne
• Infinite Forest Cake – you need Vex Milk and Impossible Heat, and you should give it to Failsafe
• Dark Chocolate Motes – you need Taken Butter and Null Taste, and you should give it to The Drifter
• Vanilla Blades – you need Cabal Oil and Sharp Flavour, and you should give it to Lord Shaxx
• Bright-Dusted Snowballs – you need Chitin Powder and Multifaceted Flavors, and you should give it to Tess Everis
• III-Fortune Cookies – you need Dark Ether Cane and Impossible Heat, and you should give it to Petra Venj
• Strange Cookies – you need Taken Butter and Electric Flavor, and you should give it to Xur
• Classic Butter Cookies – you need Taken Butter and Superb Texture, and you should give it to Eva Levante
• Lavender Ribbon Cookies – you need Vex Milk and Personal Touch, and you should give it to Saint-14
• Eteric Coldsnaps – you need Chitin Powder and Electric Flavor, and you should give it to Variks
• Bittersweet Biscotti – you need Dark Ether Cane and Balanced Flavors, and you should give it to Crow
• Blueberry Crumblers – you need Ether Cane and Bullet Spray, and you should give it to Shaw Han
• Timeless Starwort Thins – you need Dark Ether and Dark Frosting, and you should give it to Elsie Bray
• Candy Dead Ghosts – you need Dark Ether Cane and Flash of Inspiration, and you should give it to Spider
• Lucent Crunch – you need Chitin Powder and Perfect Taste, and you should give it to Fynch

To complete the recipes, you will also need Essence of Dawning, but you can get it when accomplishing activities in the Weekly Bounties.

If you want, you can also purchase updates for the events from Eva. To do so, you will need Dawning Spirit that is collected when the Event Card Challenges are completed, the Boons of Friendship are activated, and when the baked treats are delivered. You can exchange the spirit for updates and rewards.

When it comes to updates – the players can purchase a variety of those. They can last for the whole event, or they can get you a good bonus, or help you get the weapons you want from Eva. Furthermore, the updates can make the utility and power of the Statis snowball higher.

Yes, the Statis Snowballs are back again in 2022, and they can be found in the Vanguard Ops activities, in the Dares of Eternity and in the Derelict Leviathan. They can be also found in Europa and during the weekly Nightfall strikes.
