Spire of the Watcher Guide

Spire of the Watcher Guide

Season of the Seraph introduced Bungie's second dungeon for Destiny 2 Year 5 - the Spire of the Watcher. This dungeon is located on Mars, which makes sense considering the season's focus on secret bunkers and Golden Age technology. To access the dungeon, visit Ikora at the Tower and pick up the Ares Desperado quest. The first objective is to complete the dungeon, so make sure you're prepared.

Once you're ready to dive into the Spire of the Watcher, head to the Mars location in Savathun’s Throne World. The game will drop you off at the Ishtar Chronoscopic Analysis, but you need to make your way around the cliffside by following the large yellow electrical cord. It's like a giant game of "Follow the Leader," but with more Vex.

Entering the Dungeon Mechanics

Be careful as you make your way to the entrance mechanic area. The Vex aren't too fond of uninvited guests, and you'll have to take on Void-shielded Conduit Minotaurs, Harpies, and Goblins. And if that's not enough, there are also four Cyclops sitting atop the cliffs, just waiting for you to slip up.

Once you've cleared out the enemies and made it to the entrance mechanic area, it's time to figure out the mechanics. Defeating a Minotaur drops a buff called "Arctrician," which lasts for 30 seconds. With this buff, you'll need to shoot the diamond-shaped nodes and follow the yellow cord, shooting additional nodes along the way and completing the circuit. It's like a giant game of electrical engineering, but with more shooting.

Pro tip: shooting the correct nodes adds a few seconds to your Arctrician buff, so try to be as accurate as possible. And if you're fast enough, you can get through most, if not all, of the nodes. But don't worry if you need another buff - Minotaurs will spawn several times throughout the mechanic area.

The yellow cords don't have a time limit, so take your time with them. Once you turn the cords blue, they'll stay blue. And don't forget - the first node has a small arrow pointing in the direction of the cord and only has one wire attached to it.

With this information, you're well on your way to conquering the Spire of the Watcher. Remember to stay alert, keep your weapons loaded, and don't forget to have a little fun. After all, who said saving the galaxy can't be entertaining?

Room 1

You'll find Room 1 on the right side of the spire when facing the spire's majestic spire. Look for the hole in the floorboards inside the room and jump down to shoot the diamond-shaped node. From here, follow the yellow electrical cord to each of the five nodes and zap them with your trusty Arctrician buff. Three of the nodes are inside Room 1, and one is outside the room. Connect the circuit to the bottom right node at the center, and voila!

Room 2

Room 2 is right next to Room 1 and also on the right side of the spire. You'll find the first node attached to the side of the building in the back of the area. Climb up to the rooftop of Room 1, and follow the cord to a tiny lab on the rooftop of Room 2. Connect the circuit to the top right node by the door, and you're done!

Room 3

Head to the opposite side of Room 2, and you'll find Room 3. The first node for Room 3 is in the tunnel that connects to a large generator. Shoot the node on the left, the one outside, and another inside Room 3. Finally, shoot the bottom left node at the center, and you've completed Room 3.

Room 4

Room 4's starting node is inside a smaller room on top of the room itself. Cross the bridge to find the second node directly beside you, and jump down to get to the third node. Both of the remaining nodes are on Room 3's rooftop. With your Arctrician buff, zap the last node at the center to open the spire entrance.

Introducing the Reactor Firewall Jumping Puzzle Adventure!

Prepare to encounter a maze of locked doors that just refuse to budge, forcing you to get creative and find alternate routes. Begin by sliding down from the entrance, leaping onto the catwalk above, and making your grand entrance through the yellow-lit vent. You'll soon find yourself in a corridor illuminated by red and white lights. Choose the second red-lit hole as your gateway to the mysterious Reactor Firewall.

Inside this enigmatic chamber, climb up to the catwalk above and traverse your way to the opposite side. Brace yourself, for the Incarcerator Hydras, Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Harpies will soon make their appearance. Packing a long-range weapon is a wise choice, as those pesky distant foes can really rain on your parade.

As you progress, you'll notice that navigating this space is relatively straightforward - just hop on catwalks and dangling structures. But beware! The final bridge may appear to be a dead end. Fear not, for behind the colossal pillar lies one last platform. Descend, vanquish your adversaries, and ascend the lift.

Upon being catapulted into the computer lab from the lift, make your way across the room and clamber up the shattered lift. Once you reach Ares Spire, don't forget to plant a Rally Flag. Leap onto the catwalk adorning the building's side and climb upward, where you'll face the first thrilling encounter of this dungeon. Good luck, and may your wits and agility guide you through this exhilarating Reactor Firewall Jumping Puzzle!

First Encounter - Ascend the Spire

Ascend the Spire - Part 1

Welcome to the exciting world of Ascend the Spire, where climbing a tower has never been more electrifying (quite literally). In the first part of your journey, you'll encounter a bunch of nodes that need connecting - a mechanic that you'll see again and again as you ascend higher.

But before you start twirling your cords like a pro, you'll need to defeat a lone Conduit Minotaur to earn the coveted Arctrician buff. This buff will give you the boost you need to begin the mechanic.

There are two starting nodes in this section, indicated by a small arrow pointing in the direction of the cord. But wait, there's more! You'll need to connect two separate circuit cords from here to the opposite side, which means six nodes on each side, including the start and end ones. Don't worry, it's not rocket science, but it does require a little bit of focus.

Quick tip: it only takes one shot to activate a node, so you can move swiftly through this area. Long-range and medium-range weapons will come in handy here.

Connecting the nodes is a piece of cake, as you only need to follow a single cord on separate sides - they don't intertwine. However, be warned that enemies will spawn even in this small area, so stay on your toes. Jumping can also become a little tricky, so don't be afraid to unleash your inner ninja skills.

After successfully completing the nodes, you'll have to make your way up the lift for Part 2. So, buckle up, and get ready for more electrifying fun as you ascend the Spire.

Ascend the Spire - Part 2

Are you ready for the next level of Ascend the Spire? Buckle up and get ready for some electrifying action!

The starting nodes are hiding in a narrow corridor, but don't let that fool you - there's a shocking surprise waiting for you. Watch out for those electrical pulses that can zap you and deal some serious damage! So, keep your distance and shoot those nodes like a pro.

Remember the good old days of following one cord at a time to the opposite side and completing the circuit in Part 1? Well, it's time to relive that experience! Don't worry, it's not rocket science. Just jump onto the solar panels to access the end nodes and complete the circuit.

Oh, and did I mention that each side has five nodes? Yeah, you heard it right. Five nodes on each side, so make sure you don't miss any. After all, you don't want to be the laughing stock of the leaderboard!

And, if you're up for some more adventure, head up the lift for Part 3 of Ascend the Spire. Who knows what's waiting for you up there? It could be anything from laser beams to lava pits. So, get your game face on and let's go!

Ascend the Spire - Part 3

Are you ready for the next challenge? Well, hold on tight, because this one's a bit more complicated, but don't worry, I'll guide you through it with a smile on my face.

So, let's talk about the platform. It's shaped like a diamond, which means the starting nodes are on opposite ends, one on the left and the other on the right, but both circuits will lead you to the same destination. You'll have to run three-quarters of the way around the structure to get to the end. Easy peasy, right?

But wait, there's a twist. The cords intertwine, making it a bit tricky to navigate. But fret not, here's a quick and easy way to remember which direction to go.

If your cord runs at the top from the starting node, then when it reaches the intersection, it will run from the bottom. And if your cord runs at the bottom from the starting node, then when it reaches the intersection, it will run from the top.

Now, let's put our thinking caps on and get ready to tackle this challenge like a boss!

If you're ready to conquer Ascend the Spire, then get ready for a sweet reward! Completing this level will grant you access to a chest filled with goodies that will make your foes quiver in fear.

What's inside, you ask? Well, let me tell you, there's the mighty Terminus Horizon machine gun, the sleek Long Arm scout rifle, the powerful Seventh Seraph Carbine auto rifle, and the TM-EARP Custom Armor that will protect you from even the deadliest of attacks. So, make sure you grab that chest and claim your prize!

Now, let's talk about the next phase. To reach the subsequent encounter, you'll need to jump up the shaft and onto the catwalk. But wait, there's more! You'll have to open a window and jump to the next area. It's like a game of parkour, but with a twist. So, put your jumping skills to the test and get ready for the next challenge!

Are you excited? I know I am! So, let's do this and show those enemies who's boss!

Silence the Siren Boss Fight

Well, well, well, looks like you're in for a fight, my friend! But don't worry, we'll get through this together. Let's dive into the details of what's waiting for you in this battle.

First things first, completing the circuit mechanic is key to victory. You'll be facing a giant Harpy boss, along with Goblins, Harpies, and Conduit Minotaurs that will spawn throughout the fight. But, fear not, you've got this!

To get started, there are four starting nodes at the center of the map. Once you've defeated the Minotaur and acquired Arctrician, shoot all four starting nodes to make things easier for you and your teammates. You'll need to connect four circuits, but don't worry, they don't overlap.

The map is split into four bridges, conveniently labeled one through four. Each cord starts at the center and ends at the edge of the bridge by the fuel rod. It's like a giant puzzle, but with lasers and deadly creatures.

But, hold on tight, there's more! Throughout the encounter, Goblins will spawn with the Conduit Minotaurs, and annoyingly, several Harpies will spawn in the air between bridges. It's like a game of whack-a-mole, but with more danger and fewer cute animals.

Are you ready for this challenge? I know I am! So, let's get to it and show them who's the real boss!

BRIDGE 1

Alright, my friend, it's time to tackle Bridge 1! Don't worry, I'll guide you through this like a pro.

Let's start with the starting node, which is conveniently located in the center of the bridge. From there, you'll need to find two nodes on the lower level of the square platform. Keep your eyes peeled, because they can be easy to miss.

Once you've got those two, it's time to head to the right side of the bridge, where you'll find another node waiting for you. But wait, there's more! You'll need to make your way to the left side of the bridge to find the next one. It's like a game of cat and mouse, but with less fur and more circuits.

And finally, the last node is located by the fuel rod. It's like the cherry on top of a delicious sundae, but with more explosions and danger.

So, are you ready to take on Bridge 1? I know I am! Let's do this and show those enemies who's boss!

BRIDGE 2

Well, well, well, looks like it's time to take on Bridge 2! Don't worry, my friend, we've got this.

Let's start with the starting node, which is conveniently located in the center of the bridge. From there, you'll need to find two nodes on the lower level of the square platform. It's like searching for hidden treasure, but with more cords and less gold.

But wait, there's more! One node is sneaky and hiding under the bridge. Don't let it fool you, my friend. You'll need to get down and dirty to find it.

And let's not forget about the next node, which is waiting for you on the right side of the bridge. It's like a game of hide and seek, but with more lasers and danger.

And finally, the last node is located by the fuel rod. It's like the icing on a cake, but with more explosions and less frosting.

So, are you ready to take on Bridge 2? I know I am! Let's get to it and show those enemies who's boss!

BRIDGE 3

Ah, Bridge 3, the mother of all bridges! This one's a bit different, my friend, so listen closely.

Let's start with the starting node, which is, once again, located in the center of the bridge. But wait, there's a twist. All the other nodes are on the bridge itself. It's like a scavenger hunt, but with more danger and fewer clues.

The first one is inside the bridge, like a sneaky ninja waiting to strike. The next one is on top, like a crown on the head of the bridge. And the next two are facing each other inside the bridge, like they're having a staring contest. It's like a game of musical chairs, but with cords instead of chairs.

And finally, the last node is located by the fuel rod, like a faithful companion waiting to greet you at the end of a long journey.

So, are you ready to take on Bridge 3? I know I am! Let's do this and show those enemies who's boss!

BRIDGE 4

Last but not least, Bridge 4! Are you ready to tackle this final challenge? I know I am!

Let's start with the starting node, which is, once again, located in the center of the bridge. From there, you'll need to find two nodes on the lower level of the square platform. It's like finding a needle in a haystack, but with more cords and less hay.

But wait, there's more! One node is waiting for you on the right side of the bridge, while the next one is on the left side of the bridge. It's like a game of hopscotch, but with more danger and less jumping.

And finally, the last node is located by the fuel rod. Wait a minute, this seems familiar! Yes, you heard it right, it's the same as Bridge 1. It's like deja vu, but with more explosions and less time travel.

So, are you ready to take on Bridge 4? I know I am! Let's do this and show those enemies who's boss!

Alright, my friend, it's time for the final showdown! Are you ready to face Akelous, The Siren's Current? Let's dive into the details and make sure we're prepared for battle.

Connecting all four circuits will trigger the damage phase, which is where the real fun begins. The team needs to gather at the fuel rod of the last connected circuit. It's like a party, but with more explosions and less dancing.

When Akelous appears, it will open its shell, revealing several glowing spots. Shoot them all as quickly as you can, preferably with a submachine gun, to remove its shield. And then, it's time to deal some serious damage by shooting at its glowy center. It's like a game of target practice, but with more danger and fewer targets.

Linear fusion rifles work really well here, but you can also use a rocket launcher. The damage goes by quickly, so make sure you're on your toes. Remote Supers and Well of Radiance are efficient ways to deal damage.

But be careful! When Akelous overcharges its shield, it can blow you away. Jumping can make you lose control and fall, so stay near the center of the bridge when dealing damage. It's like a game of dodgeball, but with more lasers and less balls.

And finally, repeat the steps to defeat Akelous. It's like a game of Simon Says, but with more explosions and less rhyming.

Completing this encounter can reward you with the Terminus Horizon machine gun, the Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver hand cannon, and the TM-EARP Custom Armor. It's like a treasure hunt, but with more deadly creatures and less gold.

From the center, descend into the Pillory-0 Cell Stack. It's like going down a rabbit hole, but with more danger and less whimsy.

Are you ready for this epic battle? I know I am! Let's do this and show Akelous who's the real boss!

Pillory-0 Cell Stack Doors

Ah, the red cords, the ones that make your heart race with excitement and fear! But fear not, my friend, we've got this!

The red cords indicate timed circuits, which means you'll need to move fast to connect them all. But don't worry, with the Arctrician buff, you'll be able to shoot the nodes in any order quickly. It's like a game of hot potato, but with more danger and fewer potatoes.

And here's a pro tip: all five nodes are visible from the bottom floor. So, no need to go on a wild goose chase trying to find them. It's like a game of hide and seek, but with more cords and less hiding.

Are you ready for this challenge? I know I am! Let's do this and show those cords who's boss!

Ah, the fan blades, the ones that make you feel like a superhero in an action movie! But let's be real, my friend, we're no superheroes. So, let's proceed with caution.

Carefully descend through the fan blades, like a ninja sneaking past the guards. It's like a game of limbo, but with more danger and less music.

And once you've made it through, it's time to shoot the next set of red cord nodes. It's like a game of target practice, but with more danger and fewer targets.

Are you ready for this challenge? I know I am! Let's do this and show those cords who's boss!

Pillory Stack Containment

Oh boy, the final stretch! Are you ready for this, my friend? Let's do this!

First things first, drop into the Pillory Stack Containment and defeat those enemies like a boss. It's like a game of whack-a-mole, but with more lasers and less moles.

Next up, take down the Incarcerator Hydra like a pro and grab that Arctrician buff from the Minotaurs. It's like a game of tag, but with more deadly creatures and less running.

And then, it's time to shoot the red cord nodes. The room has four walls, each with a node. Avoid the electric pulses in the center like the plague, and shoot the final node at the center. It's like a game of chess, but with more danger and less strategy.

And finally, drop down to the Seraph Reactor Core for the ultimate boss fight. It's like the grand finale of a fireworks show, but with more danger and less pretty lights.

Are you ready for this epic showdown? I know I am! Let's do this and show that boss who's the real boss!

Parsys,  Promordial Ruin  Final Boss Fight

Ah, the final boss fight, the moment we've all been waiting for! Are you ready to face this challenge head-on? Let's do this!

The boss fight requires both red and yellow cord circuits. It's like a game of Twister, but with more cords and less twisting.

And in such a small space, it's wise to be constantly on the move, like a ninja dodging obstacles. Even if you're not shooting the nodes, enemies will constantly spawn, making it tough to stand in one place. It's like a game of whack-a-mole, but with more danger and fewer moles.

But fear not, my friend, grenade launchers can help against these groups of enemies. It's like a game of dodgeball, but with more explosions and less balls.

And here's another pro tip: Void damage resistance and Concussive Dampener mods can help with the incoming damage throughout the boss fight. It's like having a secret weapon, but with more strategy and less secrecy.

Are you ready to take on this final challenge? I know I am! Let's do this and show that boss who's the real boss!

Boss Damage Phase:

Ah, the Persys boss damage phase, the moment of truth! Are you ready to take on this challenge? Let's do this!

First things first, take care of those enemies like a pro. It's like a game of whack-a-mole, but with more danger and fewer moles. Goblins, exploding Harpies, and two Incarcerator Hydras will be coming at you, and the immune boss will be on your tail. It's like a game of tag, but with more lasers and less running.

Once you've defeated the Hydras, the doors to the other side will open, and the Conduit Minotaurs will spawn. It's like a game of hide and seek, but with more deadly creatures and less hiding.

And with Arctrician, shoot the red cord nodes first. There are four on the pillars and one above the big doorway. It's like a game of target practice, but with more danger and fewer targets.

And finally, you've reached the Persys boss damage phase. Are you ready for this? I know I am! Let's do this and show that boss who's the real boss!

Ah, the yellow nodes, the ones that will light the way to victory! Let's find them and complete this challenge like a pro!

First things first, find the two yellow nodes that are open. It's like a game of hide and seek, but with more cords and less hiding. The starting nodes for the yellow cords are behind the pillars with the red cord nodes. It's like a game of connect-the-dots, but with more danger and less paper.

And once you've found them, follow each line to complete the circuit in one of the four end nodes inside the Reactor room. It's like a game of solving a puzzle, but with more danger and less time.

Are you ready to complete this final challenge? I know I am! Let's do this and show that boss who's the real boss!

Ah, the Reactor core purge, the ultimate test of our skills and courage! Are you ready to face this challenge head-on? Let's do this!

After completing two yellow cord circuits, a message at the bottom left of your screen will say, "Reactor core purge - Armed. Reactor Isolation Chamber Active. Take Cover." It's like a game of Simon Says, but with more danger and less fun.

When you get this message, an alarm will ring, signaling that it's time to head back into the room with the red cords and wait until the red cord nodes open up again. It's like a game of hide and seek, but with more urgency and less hiding.

As soon as the red cord nodes open, shoot them like a pro. The message on the bottom left will tell you that Persys is vulnerable. It's like a game of whack-a-mole, but with more danger and fewer moles.

However, if you get a message that says, "Reactor Isolation Chamber Deactivated," the team missed the damage phase opportunity and must redo the steps. It's like a game of trial and error, but with more frustration and less progress.

And for the damage phase, gather up in the middle of the red cord room to allow for some distance between the team and the boss. It's like a game of cat and mouse, but with more danger and less cuteness.

The precision damage spot for Persys is the small glowy center, which can be tough to target. It's like a game of darts, but with more danger and less precision. But fear not, my friend, you can apply the same weapon and Super damage method from the previous Akelous encounter, especially damage from linear fusion rifles. It's like having a secret weapon, but with more strategy and less secrecy.

Are you ready to take on this final challenge? I know I am! Let's do this and show that boss who's the real boss!
