Focus on completing its steps: 75 Snowball kills, 25 Upgraded Snowball kills, and baking/delivering one Classic Butter Cookie to Eva. Additional Mementos from Gifts are pure RNG, so securing the quest one is vital.
3. Masterwork the Oven (If Baking): If you plan to bake more than a handful of cookies for Triumphs or Gifts, Masterworking the Oven by baking one of each required recipe type significantly reduces the Essence cost.
4. Target 1-2 Key Weapon Rolls: Identify the specific Dawning weapon(s) and perk combinations you desire most. Use efficient farming methods (Shuro Chi, Shattered Throne) to gather the necessary ingredients, Essence, and Gifts. Spend your Spirit and Gifts specifically focusing those weapons at Eva. Remember you need to obtain the weapon once before you can target-focus it.
5. Spend Remaining Dawning Spirit: Don't let your Spirit expire at the end of the event! Purchase any remaining upgrades you might want, or if you're low on Gifts, focus random Dawning Engrams as a last resort.
6. Claim All Event Card Rewards: Double-check the Dawning Event Card in your Quests tab. Ensure you have claimed all rewards from completed challenges on the free track. If you purchased the upgrade or received it during the initial bug, claim those rewards as well. Unclaimed rewards will disappear when the event ends.
7. Purchase Bright Dust Items: Visit Tess Everis in the Tower one last time. If there are any Dawning cosmetics you wanted to buy with Bright Dust, grab them before they leave the store.
