Midnight Season 1 links every rating milestone to a concrete reward, so the ladder always has a clear payoff.

Progress starts at Combatant (1000), which kicks off the Vicious Snaplizard mount track, a faction-themed seasonal reward that accumulates across Arena, Solo Shuffle, and Battleground Blitz wins. Each threshold from Challenger through Duelist unlocks a piece of the Elite PvP transmog set, with the weapon illusion dropping at Rival II (1950) and the seasonal cloak at Duelist (2100).

Gladiator requires reaching 2400 in 3v3 and winning 50 more matches above that rating. The reward is the Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake, a permanent void-armored flying mount exclusive to Midnight Season 1. Rank 1 (top 0.1% at season end) adds the Galactic Gladiator title.

Both brackets are active in Midnight, but they're built for different purposes.

2v2 runs faster matches, leans into DPS and healer duos, and serves mostly as a practice bracket. The rewards cap out below Gladiator: there's no Rank 1 title, no seasonal Gladiator mount, and no path to the highest-tier cosmetics.

3v3 is where all of that lives. It's the only bracket that offers Gladiator and Rank 1 titles, and the pacing changes Midnight introduced make team coordination more decisive here than in any previous season. Matches run longer, burst windows are tighter, and there's far more weight on positioning and CC timing than on raw damage output.

Midnight PvP gearing runs on two main currencies: Honor and Conquest.

Honor comes from any PvP activity: unrated battlegrounds, skirmishes, and rated matches all contribute. Honor gear scales to item level 276 in PvP combat, which is why a full set is the entry requirement for rated content. It's accessible but not the ceiling.

Conquest gear is earned from rated play only and scales to 289 in PvP. The Great Vault offers a weekly shot at high-end PvP pieces based on how many rated games you completed that week. The Heraldry crafting system is another option, letting players craft PvP gear that scales from 263 up to 289 depending on the reagent tier used.
