Dragonflight Dragon Glyphs Guide
One of the biggest selling points of World of Warcraft Dragonflight is the fact that it is allowing players to fly right away from the very first day of the expansion. The flying itself however is not as we know it, a new form of travel Dragonriding that you can use less than an hour after the start of the main campaign introduces an even faster way to travel across vast zones that new expansion has to offer.
Right when you get your first dragonriding mount, it won’t be very fast and will get tired pretty quickly, it is due to the fact that Dragonriding has its own passive talent tree with its own unique way of acquiring skill points via collecting glyphs.
Glyphs are Dragon shaped coins floating mid-air that are hidden across all of the dragon isles, in this article, we will show you where to find all of them to make your dragonriding experience the best possible with all the passives unlocked.
All glyphs you unlock are account-wide so you only need to unlock them once per account.
How long does it take to unlock all glyphs?
While the idea of unlocking everything at the same time may be overwhelming, the time needed to obtain all glyphs after finishing the campaign is roughly an hour and a half if you don’t prioritize easy glyphs before attempting to collect the hardest ones due to time spent waiting for vigor recharge, faster players with the more optimal route can probably finish everything under an hour.
Where to find all glyphs?
To unlock everything in the Dragonriding passive tree, a total of 48 passive points needs to be allocated, which makes it 12 glyphs to pick up each zone, it is worth noting that some passives require more than one glyph to unlock.
Each zone has its own achievement that helps to track down what glyphs you have already collected and what not, however, it is not very intuitive as the names of locations described on the achievement itself are often not the same as locations in-game.
To make it easier for you, we will mark every single location from each zone achievement on a map, let's start with Waking Shores:

Conclusion
After collecting all 48 glyphs and allocating them into your passive tree, Dragonriding becomes better than just regular flying with the potential to reach over double vertical speed compared to the fastest flying mount available on other continents. It is very important and highly recommended to gather all glyphs first thing right after leveling up to level 70, some people decide to go collect all the skill points even before getting to max level, however, it is worth noting that with abilities for dragonriding unlocking through the campaign, it will be significantly harder to collect all glyphs before finishing the campaign.
