Each of the seven Zonewarden challenges targets a different kind of PvP skill, and none of them overlap in a way that lets you double-dip progress. Trinary Star asks you to defeat 3 Runners as the only surviving member of your crew, meaning your teammates need to go down first while you clutch the fight. Live Hidden requires killing 3 hostiles with a suppressed weapon without being eliminated, forcing you into stealth loadouts that sacrifice raw firepower. Deimos and Phobos is a revenge challenge where you track down and eliminate the exact Runner who killed you earlier in the same run. God Will Sort the Dead is arguably the hardest: eliminate at least 9 Runners and then extract at the final exfil, which means surviving a full run of aggressive PvP while still making it out alive. Hammer/Anvil demands a melee kill and a grenade kill on separate Runners in one run, pushing you into close-range fights where the risk of dying peaks. Rook to TCIV, Checkmate requires using the Rook shell, Marathon's solo scavenger frame that drops into matches with zero starting gear. At the Foot of Olympus rounds out the title with its own elimination condition. Marathon operates on a three-month seasonal cycle where Bungie wipes gear, faction progress, contracts, and player level at the start of each new season. Titles are one of the few permanent progression markers that survive these resets. Cosmetics and Codex progress carry over too, but titles sit directly under your in-game ID where every other Runner can see them.
