Raising Renown with The War Within factions means completing world quests, hunting rares, finishing weekly dungeon quests, and grinding zone events across all of Khaz Algar. Each faction requires 2,500 reputation points per rank with most capping at Renown 25, and maxing out even a single faction takes serious time. Multiply that across the Council of Dornogal, Assembly of the Deeps, Hallowfall Arathi, Severed Threads, and later additions like the Cartels of Undermine and K'aresh Trust, and you're looking at hundreds of thousands of reputation points total. War Within Renown Factions Overview

The War Within spans nine major Renown factions, each tied to a specific zone or activity. The four original Khaz Algar factions are the Council of Dornogal on the Isle of Dorn, the Assembly of the Deeps in the Ringing Deeps, the Hallowfall Arathi in Hallowfall, and the Severed Threads in Azj-Kahet. The Severed Threads also includes three sub-factions (The General, The Vizier, and The Weaver) that grant their own unique mount rewards. Flame's Radiance serves as a smaller defensive faction capped at Renown 10. Patch 11.1 brought the Cartels of Undermine with a weekly cartel alignment system that lets you pick which goblin cartel to support. Patch 11.2 added the K'aresh Trust centered around Tazavesh and the Manaforge Vandals, a raid-exclusive track tied to the Manaforge Omega raid.

Renown Rewards and Progression

Every Renown rank unlocks something from faction quartermasters scattered across Khaz Algar. Mounts are the biggest draw, with options like the Crimson Mudnose and Cyan Glowmite from the Assembly of the Deeps, the Vermillion Imperial Lynx from the Hallowfall Arathi, and the Ruby Void Creeper from the K'aresh Trust. Beyond mounts, you'll find transmog sets like the Thread-Bearer's Carapace from the Severed Threads, battle pets, profession recipes, crafting knowledge tomes, Valorstones, and crests for gear upgrades. Most factions cap at Renown 25, and each rank costs 2,500 reputation points to reach, putting the total for a single faction at 62,500 points.

How Warband Renown Works

The War Within made all Renown progress account-wide through the Warband system. Every reputation point you earn on any character applies to your entire roster, so there's no need to repeat the grind on alts the way Dragonflight originally required. Once your Warband hits a Renown threshold, every character can purchase leveling gear from faction quartermasters immediately. Alts can also contribute to your reputation progress by completing weekly quests and world quests on their own, making it possible to push through ranks faster by spreading objectives across multiple characters.

What Should I Do After I Order?
