Blizzard just dropped the official list of what's disappearing when The War Within Season 2 wraps up on August 12. The Ghosts of K'aresh update marks the end of one of WoW's biggest seasonal reward cycles, affecting everything from Mythic+ dungeons to PvP rankings and the new Delve system.

Players chasing seasonal achievements have less than two weeks to lock in exclusive titles, mounts, and cosmetics. Once Season 3 launches, these rewards either vanish completely or become much harder to get.

Two Meta-Achievements Offer Different Routes to Victory

Season 2's reward structure centers on two major meta-achievements that cater to different playstyles. "The War Within Season 2: Master Blaster" gives players three paths to success on any single character.

Hit 1600+ PvP Rating, reach 2000+ Mythic+ Rating, or kill Chrome King Gallywix on Heroic or Mythic difficulty. Complete any one and you'll earn the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, which trades for either PvE or PvP gear.

Critical Deadline Warning
"Dressed to the Mines" demands more commitment. Players need to finish one of three elite-tier challenges: defeat Chrome King Gallywix on Mythic, hit 2500+ Mythic+ Rating, or earn Elite rank in PvP. The payoff is the Gallagio Highroller's Bombstone, which adds permanent visual effects to Liberation of Undermine class sets.

These effects work across your entire Warband, making it a long-term cosmetic upgrade that's hard to pass up. Once Season 2 ends, only the Mythic raid requirement stays available. The PvP and Mythic+ options disappear forever.

Raid Achievements Follow Standard Seasonal Pattern

Liberation of Undermine's big three achievements are all on the chopping block. "Ahead of the Curve: Chrome King Gallywix" requires a Heroic or higher kill before the next raid tier drops.

"Cutting Edge: Chrome King Gallywix" needs a Mythic clear in the same timeframe. "Hall of Fame: Chrome King Gallywix" goes to the first 200 guilds worldwide to down the boss on Mythic, earning the "Famed Slayer of The Chrome King" title.

The mount situation is more forgiving. "The Keys to the Big G" keeps dropping from Chrome King Gallywix at current rates until the next expansion launches. Only then does it become a rare drop, which differs from typical seasonal mount policies.

Currency Warning
Puzzling Cartel Chips face complete removal. Both the currency and vendor disappear when Season 2 ends. No conversion system, no grace period, so spend them before August 12 or lose them.

Mythic+ Rewards Span Ten Achievement Tiers

The Mythic+ achievement ladder covers every skill level, from casual players to the hardcore elite. All ten tiers become Feats of Strength when Season 3 starts.

"Keystone Explorer" needs any Mythic+ clear within the timer. "Keystone Conqueror" requires 1500+ rating and awards "the Enterprising" title. "Keystone Master" demands 2000+ rating for the Crimson Shreddertank mount.

"Keystone Hero" sits at 2500+ rating, while "Keystone Legend" requires 3000+ and grants the Enterprising Shreddertank mount. The top prize, "Enterprising Hero," goes to the top 0.1% of players in each region based on final rating.

Current Cutoffs
Current cutoffs show North American players need 3790+ rating for the title, while Europeans need 3804+. That's a massive gap from the 3000 rating needed for Legend status.

Eight dungeons offer individual +10 completion achievements: Cinderbrew Meadery, Darkflame Cleft, Priory of the Sacred Flame, Operation: Floodgate, The Rookery, The Motherlode, Mechagon Workshop, and Theater of Pain.

Population data reveals how exclusive these achievements really are. Keystone Legend (3000+ rating) represents just 14.3% of players. Keystone Hero (2500+ rating) reaches 34.2%. Even Keystone Master (2000+ rating) only hits 48.4% of the population.

Dungeon teleports will be restricted to future seasonal rotations after Season 2 ends, potentially making these achievements harder to attempt later.

PvP Achievements Cover Multiple Competitive Formats

PvP rewards start with basic Combatant ranks that unlock seasonal armor pieces. Combatant I grants a cloak, while Combatant II adds legs and bracers. "Prized Combatant" requires wins at 1000+ rating and rewards the Vicious Electro Eel mount.

Challenger tiers continue the armor set with gloves, boots, chest, and belt pieces. Rival I adds shoulders and helm, while Rival II provides the Weapon Illusion: Jackpot.

Elite tier recognition includes Duelist rank (Season Gladiator's Prestigious Cloak), Elite rank (Season Gladiator's Tabard), and full Gladiator status. Gladiator requires 50 wins in 3v3 at Elite rank and awards the Prized Gladiator's Fel Bat mount.

"Prized Gladiator" title goes to the top 0.1% of 3v3 players with at least 150 games won. "Prized Weapons of Conquest" needs 2500 Conquest points for two weapon tokens.

Solo Shuffle gets its own achievement track. "Battle Mender" requires 50 healer wins at Rival I+. "Legend" demands 100 wins at Elite rank for the Prized Legend's Pennant toy. "Prized Legend" title goes to top 0.1% performers with 50+ games.

Rated Battleground Blitz rounds out the system. "Strategist" needs 25 wins at Elite rank. "Prized Marshal" and "Prized Warlord" titles require top 0.1% finishes with 50+ games. "Hero of the Alliance" and "Hero of the Horde" recognize top 0.5% players.

PvP Rating Lock
PvP ratings lock at 10:00 PM local time on August 5, several days before the content update. Elite appearances become unavailable once Season 2 officially ends.

Delves Introduce Eleven-Tier Progression System

Delve achievements span Tier 4 through Tier 11, each requiring completion with lives remaining. Tier 11 grants the "High Explorer" title.

Boss-specific achievements focus on The Underpin encounter. "The Hataclysm" requires asking Brann to change his hat ten times after recovering it. "My New Nemesis" needs an Underpin kill for the Golden-Gob Propulsion Rig mount, which becomes a rare drop post-season.

"Breaking the Bank" demands an Underpin kill on Tier ?? difficulty for "The Real Deal" title. "Let me Solo Him: The Underpin" requires soloing the boss on Tier ?? without party help, granting the Delver's Gob-Trotter Schematic: Gold mount customization.

"Just Keep Swimming" challenges players to complete a Kobyss delve without losing breath on Tier 8+.

Community Features Track Seasonal Performance

Raider.IO launched personalized Season 2 recaps that break down individual player statistics. The system tracks class preferences, item level growth, group compositions, dungeon frequency, and regular teammates.

Players need Battle.net account linking to generate their recap. The feature provides detailed infographics covering the entire season's progression.

Rating Distribution Shows Competitive Landscape

Current Mythic+ data reveals significant performance gaps across factions and regions. In the US and Oceania, the top 0.1% threshold sits at 3790.63 overall rating. Horde players need 3594.96, while Alliance players require 3816.62 for equivalent ranking.

Completing all dungeons at +15 (3280 rating) places players in the top 2.5%. All +12s (2920 rating) reaches the top 17.6%. Even basic +2 completion (1240 rating) represents the top 62.1% of participants.

These numbers highlight just how competitive high-end Mythic+ content has become, especially for players chasing the Enterprising Hero title.

Season Transition Timeline and Preparation

August 12's Ghosts of K'aresh launch marks the hard deadline for Season 2 rewards. PvP ratings lock earlier on August 5, giving players different windows depending on their focus.

Players who want everything better move fast. These seasonal rewards won't come back, which keeps them special for people who actually played during Season 2.

Season 3 Brings Major Content Overhaul

Season 3 launches with significant changes across all endgame systems. The Mythic+ dungeon pool gets a complete refresh based on community voting and new content additions.

New Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation

The Season 3 pool features eight dungeons, including the brand new Eco-Dome Al'dani. Four War Within dungeons return based on community votes: Ara-Kara City of Echoes, The Dawnbreaker, Operation: Floodgate, and Priory of the Sacred Flame.

Previous expansion content includes Halls of Atonement and both halves of Tazavesh the Veiled Market. The mega-dungeon splits into Streets of Wonder and So'leah's Gambit for separate Mythic+ entries.

Void Flyer Mounts Replace Season 2 Rewards

Azure Void Flyer comes from Keystone Master (2000+ rating), while Scarlet Void Flyer requires Keystone Legend (3000+ rating). Both feature void-twisted designs that fit the K'aresh theme.

The top 0.1% title changes from "Enterprising Hero" to "Unbound Hero," with Keystone Conqueror players earning "the Unbound" instead of "the Enterprising." Keystone Hero rewards shift to the K'areshi Voidstone rather than previous seasonal items.

Dungeon teleport portals now unlock account-wide through Warband integration. Complete any dungeon at +10 and all characters gain teleport access, making alt progression significantly smoother.

Delves Feature New Nemesis Boss

Nexus-Princess Ky'veza replaces The Underpin as Season 3's primary Delve antagonist. Players never actually defeated her during the Nerub-ar Palace raid, setting up a one-on-one confrontation in the Delve system.

PvP Updates Include New Battleground

Vanquisher's Wake joins the PvP island rotation for outdoor combat enthusiasts. PvP talent updates across multiple classes promise to shake up established strategies, though specific changes remain under wraps.

Manaforge Omega Raid Completes War Within Trilogy

The expansion's final raid features eight bosses in a K'aresh facility designed to harvest cosmic energy. One boss remains optional, following recent raid design trends that offer multiple progression paths.
