Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Boosting

Activision has revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2, one of the largest content drops in recent Call of Duty history. The update launches Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 9 AM PT across all platforms.

Season 2 brings nine new Multiplayer maps, seven weapons, multiple game modes, a snow-covered Rebirth Island rework, and Ranked Play for both Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Warzone Resurgence. The Season 1 Battle Pass expires at launch, with a new pass taking its place.

The story picks up with The Guild wounded but still dangerous. Victoria Atwood, a neural scientist running The Guild's technology division, now works with Alden Dorne to extract David Mason's mind and recreate C-Link technology. Their goal goes beyond fear. They want to control all emotions.

New Maps

Four maps drop on launch day. Torment is a small 6v6 nightmare born from David Mason's tortured psyche, featuring blood-soaked arenas and portal traversal. Sake takes the fight to a Japanese sake factory with distinct combat zones across production facilities and zen gardens. Nexus puts players in another Mason hallucination, this time a subzero testing facility. And Slums, the fan-favorite from Black Ops 2, returns as a full remaster.

Mid-season adds five more. Torque recalls The Battle of Los Angeles from Black Ops 2 with heavy vertical Wall Jump opportunities. Cliff Town reimagines Yemen from Black Ops 2 as a cliffside Avalon settlement. Mission: Peak is a new 20v20 Skirmish map in medieval streets. Grind and Firing Range both return from Black Ops 6, with Firing Range now supporting Wall Jumps.

New Modes

Safeguard and Overdrive return at launch. Safeguard has teams escorting a robot through enemy territory, while Overdrive adds a star-collecting mechanic to Team Deathmatch where kills unlock temporary abilities.

Limited-time modes rotate throughout the season. Luck Confirmed is a Lunar New Year spin on Kill Confirmed. Solo Hearts Moshpit locks party size to one for Valentine's Day. Third Wheel Gunfight bumps the classic mode to 3v3.

Mid-season introduces Gauntlet, where teams compete across five consecutive game modes with random rotation every two minutes. Infected also returns with a new twist: infected players can earn Scorestreaks to become a Mangler or Disciple.

Ranked Play

Ranked Play finally arrives, using the same settings, maps, and restrictions as the Call of Duty League. Players need 50 Multiplayer wins to unlock access, then three Placement Match wins to receive a starting rank.

Ranks span Bronze through Iridescent (10,000+ SR), with a Top 250 leaderboard tracking the best players. SR comes from wins and goes away with losses, though several forgiveness systems soften the blow. Daily loss protection, rank-up protection, and teammate-quit protection all prevent SR loss under specific conditions.

Party restrictions kick in at higher ranks. Crimson and above limits players to solo or duo queue within one rank of each other. Maps include Blackheart, Colossus, Den, Exposure, Raid, and Scar. Modes are Hardpoint, Overload, and Search & Destroy.

Climbing the ranks unlocks Operator Skins, animated camos, and blueprints exclusive to each tier.

New Scorestreak

The Lockshot arrives mid-season for 450 Score. This smart pistol locks onto multiple targets and eliminates them all with a single trigger pull.

Black Ops 7 Endgame

Guild Strikes and Nightmare Zones

Guild Strikes can hit at any point during a match. When Alden Dorne detonates hidden Cradle stockpiles across Avalon, affected areas become Nightmare Zones. These hotspots are tougher than Tier IV areas, and players must hunt down Strike Bosses for high-tier rewards.

Eagle Eye Skill Track

The new Eagle Eye Skill Track focuses on precision and critical damage. Skills include Increased Crit Damage, Rampage (rapid kills boost weapon damage), and Armor Breaker.

Two new Abilities also launch. Sentinel Protocol summons a reprogrammed Guild robot that fights alongside the squad and revives downed teammates. Blood Burner spawns an armored motorcycle that charges an energy pulse attack by running over enemies.

Mid-Season Additions

Defeating Strike Bosses can trigger Glitches, rare off-map events that pull squads into corrupted C-Link data. Surviving waves earns powerful Nightmare Skills. The Exotic Fabricator also arrives, letting players upgrade any weapon to Exotic status with random effects.

Black Ops 7 Zombies

Mars Survival Map

The fourth Survival map takes place in an ancient temple beneath the Martian sands. This is the Astra Malorum boss arena, complete with Pack-a-Punch, Der Wunderfizz, Mystery Box (including the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon), and Uber Klaus appearances at high rounds.

New Modes

Cursed Survival strips players down to a pistol start with limited HUD and Black Ops 3-style points, while still granting Golden Armor and Pack-a-Punch IV benefits. The mode works across all four Survival maps.

Starting Room returns permanently from Black Ops 6. Crews spawn trapped in sealed starting areas with only the resources available there. Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum are playable at launch.

Mid-Season Content

Paradox Junction continues the story as the crew finds themselves stranded out of time after Astra Malorum's events. The new Turncoat GobbleGum charms nearby zombies to fight for the player.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Rebirth Island Winter Refresh

Rebirth Island gets a snow-covered makeover under Guild control. A new Turbine POI sits on the north shore with a massive sulfur extraction chamber. An unmarked Outpost near Stronghold adds a Comms structure with a prototype laser cannon.

Gameplay changes include visible footprints in deep snow, cleaner sightlines from reduced fog and Guild renovations, vehicle-friendly snow jumps, Dynamic Infil Events (gas explosions), hidden classic Blueprints from previous titles, and Snowstorm Gas circles. New Killstreaks include the RC-XD and Smoke Screen.

New Perks

Three Slot 1 perks replace existing options. Field Medic (replacing Veteran) speeds up revives and gives revived teammates armor plates plus a speed boost. Drill Instructor (replacing Grenadier) triggers health regen while sprinting and boosts nearby ally movement speed. Surveyor (replacing Cold-Blooded) marks enemies on the map when they use Buy Stations or Contracts.

Ranked Play: Resurgence

Competitive Trios on Haven's Hollow launches with Black Ops 7 weapons only and CDL-style restrictions. SR comes from placement and eliminations, with deployment fees starting at Silver rank. Division-specific Operator Skins, weapon camos, and blueprints await players who climb the ladder.

Limited-Time Modes

Loaded Resurgence drops players in fully equipped, with extra Perks earned per elimination. Rush Resurgence speeds up circle timing so matches end in half the normal time. Extreme Resurgence (mid-season) crams 100 players onto Haven's Hollow instead of the usual 52. Iron Gauntlet Beta is a high-stakes Verdansk Duos mode with scarce resources, 300 base health, and survival-focused rules.

Avalon Comes to Warzone

Mid-season brings a new Battle Royale mode on the Avalon map, drawing inspiration from Black Ops 4 Blackout.

Warzone Resurgence Series

A new $1.2 million competitive circuit begins February 9. The series includes online qualifiers, LAN tournaments at DreamHack Birmingham and Atlanta, and a Championship at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

New Weapons

Three weapons come through the Battle Pass. The REV-46 SMG fires at 1,111 RPM with a foldable stock that changes handling characteristics. The EGRT-17 Assault Rifle fires superheated rounds that ricochet off surfaces. The H311-SAW is a rotating saw melee weapon with extended reach.

Four more weapons arrive through challenges and events. The GDL Havoc Special is a pump-action sticky grenade launcher from Weekly Challenges. The SG-12 Shotgun, a fast-firing semi-auto with the longest range in its class, comes from the Escalation Directive Event. Mid-season brings the Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle and Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle through events.

New attachments include the XM325 Titan Wield for dual-wielding LMGs, the Razor 9mm Wildfire Conversion for massive fire rate increases, and the Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit that converts the shotgun into a grenade launcher.

Events and Challenges

The Escalation Directive Event delivers 8 Universal Camos (4 animated) plus the SG-12 Shotgun through Weapon Class Camo Challenges across all modes.

Leaderboard Events run throughout the season. Mars tracks highest Zombies round, Hunt or Be Hunted counts Multiplayer eliminations, and Dead Ops Arcade measures high scores. All three offer Universal Camos and Weapon Blueprints.

Weekly Challenges unlock new Attachments and weapons, with animated camos for completing multiple weeks.

Battle Pass and BlackCell

Victoria Atwood headlines the Season 2 Battle Pass. The 110+ reward track includes three base weapons, Operator Skins, Blueprints, and up to 1,100 COD Points.

BlackCell adds the exclusive Phantom Operator with electromagnetic adaptive armor. The premium tier also includes 7 exclusive Operator Skins, 7 exclusive Weapon Blueprints (including Reactive and Mastercraft variants), extra Daily Challenges, and loyalty XP bonuses for consecutive season purchases.

Looking Ahead

Season 2 represents a significant content injection for Black Ops 7 and Warzone alike. Ranked Play in particular has been a long-requested addition, and its arrival alongside the Warzone Resurgence competitive circuit signals Activision's push toward a more structured competitive ecosystem.

Mid-season promises even more with Paradox Junction, the Avalon Battle Royale mode, and additional weapons. Activision typically reveals full details for Reloaded content closer to release, so expect another major blog post in the coming weeks.

Season 2 goes live February 5 at 9 AM PT.
