Linking Your Accounts First
Before you can claim any promotional rewards, you'll need to connect your Embark ID to the relevant platforms. The game creates your Embark ID automatically when you first launch Arc Raiders, and you've probably already connected your gaming platform (Steam, Epic Games, or Xbox) during setup.
Connecting Twitch and Discord to Your Embark ID
The process is the same for both platforms:
- Go to the Embark ID connected platforms page
- Click "link" next to Twitch or Discord
- Log into the service through your browser if you're not already signed in
- Read the terms of service about data sharing
- Click agree if you're comfortable with it
Once that's done, you're ready to start earning promotional items.
Twitch Drops: What You Can Get
The Twitch Drops campaign offers four different rewards. Two are cosmetics you can use in Arc Raiders, while the other two are for Twitch chat.
How Long You Have
The campaign runs until November 13 at 11:59 PM PST, giving you two weeks from launch to collect everything.
What's Available
Only the Warm-Up Emote and Bobblehead Backpack Charm are actually usable in the game. The other two are cosmetics for your Twitch profile.
How to Claim Twitch Drops
Check the Campaign
Visit Twitch and look for active Drop campaigns. Search for "ARC Raiders Launch Drops" to make sure it's running.
Link Your Accounts
Connect your Arc Raiders/Embark account with your Twitch account using the steps above. You can't get drops without this.
Watch Participating Streams
Find any Arc Raiders streamer with "Drops Enabled" on their channel. You can watch actively or just leave the stream running in the background. Both count toward your watch time.
Track Your Progress
Your watch time adds up across any participating Arc Raiders stream. You don't need to stick with the same streamer the whole time.
Claim Each Reward
When you hit a milestone, Twitch sends a notification to your inbox. You have to manually claim each reward by opening the message and clicking the claim button. You can also find everything in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
Log Into Arc Raiders
After claiming through Twitch, launch Arc Raiders to receive the items. The in-game rewards (Warm-Up Emote and Bobblehead Backpack Charm) will show up in your inventory.
The first three rewards are easy since you just need to leave a stream running. The fourth one (Arc Raiders Chat Badge) costs money because you have to gift a subscription.
Discord Quest: The Hiker Backpack
The Discord Quest works differently because you actually have to play the game instead of just watching someone else.
When It Ends
The Discord Quest is available until November 5. One source mentions November 6, 2025, so double-check the exact deadline in your Discord Quest interface. Either way, this deadline is shorter than the Twitch campaign.
The Reward
Play Arc Raiders for 15 minutes through Discord
That's the only reward from this quest.
How to Complete It
Use Discord on Desktop
Open Discord on your computer. The mobile app won't work for this quest.
Find Quests
Look for the Quests feature in Discord. Check the "Quests" tab in your sidebar, the gift icon in the bottom-left corner, or go to your DMs and select "Quests" from the top menu.
Accept the Arc Raiders Quest
Scroll through available quests until you find Arc Raiders. Click "Accept Quest" to start.
Pick Your Platform
Choose between desktop (PC) or console (PS5 or Xbox). This tells Discord how to track your gameplay.
Link Console Account If Needed
Console players need to connect their Discord account to their PlayStation 5 or Xbox. Follow the prompts if you selected console.
Launch Through Discord
Start Arc Raiders through Discord's game detection. This is crucial for tracking your play time.
Play for 15 Minutes
Do a run or just play the game for at least 15 minutes. Keep the game open and active for it to count.
Grab Your Reward
When you finish 15 minutes, the quest marks as complete. Claim your Hiker Backpack (Sky Ice) through Discord. It'll appear in Arc Raiders next time you log in.
Twitch vs. Discord: Which to Do First
Understanding the differences helps you decide what to prioritize:
| Factor | Twitch Drops | Discord Quest |
|---|---|---|
| Effort Required | Minimal - leave stream running | Active - must play 15 minutes |
| Time Investment | 30 minutes to 2 hours | 15 minutes of gameplay |
| Deadline | November 13, 11:59 PM PST | November 5/6, 2025 |
| Reward Types | 2 in-game + 2 Twitch items | 1 in-game backpack |
| Platform Setup | Browser or app based | Requires Discord active during play |
Getting Everything Efficiently
To collect all the free items:
Do Discord First
The Discord Quest has the shortest deadline and only takes 15 minutes. Get it done early so you don't forget.
Then Hit Twitch
Leave a participating Arc Raiders stream running to reach the 2-hour mark for the Bobblehead Backpack Charm. You can do this while doing other things.
Decide on Chat Items
The Dance Chat Emote only needs 30 minutes, so it's easy to grab. The Arc Raiders Chat Badge requires gifting a subscription, which costs money. Only go for it if you're already planning to support a streamer.
If Something Goes Wrong
Drops Not Showing Up
If you hit the watch time but didn't get notified, check your Twitch Drops Inventory manually. You have to claim each drop there before it moves to Arc Raiders.
Quest Not Tracking
Make sure you launched Arc Raiders through Discord itself. If you start the game from Steam, Epic, or your console menu, Discord can't track it.
Account Linking Issues
Log out of all platforms and try linking again. Clear your browser cache if problems continue.
Rewards Missing In-Game
Log into Arc Raiders after claiming rewards through Twitch or Discord. If items don't appear right away, restart the game.
What to Remember
Both campaigns are time-limited. Discord especially has a much shorter window than Twitch, so plan accordingly.
All rewards are purely cosmetic. They don't give you any gameplay advantages, just visual customization options.
You don't have to do both campaigns. Pick the rewards you actually want based on your time and what platforms you prefer.
