Battlefield 6 Boosting

Following the most successful launch in franchise history, Battlefield 6 continues its momentum with Season 1, delivering a steady stream of free content updates that began on October 28, 2025. With two major content drops already live and a third on the horizon, here's everything you need to know about Season 1's complete roadmap, including the free trial event currently running through December 2.

Season 1 Timeline Overview

Season 1 spans from October 28, 2025, through January 20, 2026, and is divided into three distinct content phases:

  • Rogue Ops launched on October 28, 2025
  • California Resistance launched on November 18, 2025
  • Winter Offensive arrives on December 9, 2025

All Season 1 content is free for all players, though some items are locked behind the free tiers of the Season 1 Battle Pass and challenges. Additionally, certain rewards are only available for limited periods tied to each content phase.

New Maps in Season 1

Blackwell Fields (Available Now)

The first new map of Season 1 arrived with Rogue Ops on October 28. Blackwell Fields is set in a recently recommissioned American air base located in the California badlands. The narrative context places this map just as the fires of war from the single-player campaign begin to cool, with Pax Armata double agents launching attacks on NATO targets.

The map features large open oil field expanses with minimal cover outside designated hotspots containing buildings and vehicles. Blackwell Fields supports all combat sizes and accommodates both land and air vehicles, making it suitable for varied playstyles from infantry combat to vehicular warfare.

Eastwood (Available Now)

California Resistance brought the Eastwood map on November 18. This map depicts an affluent suburb in Southern California where Pax Armata sleeper agents embedded within the community have been activated as part of a coordinated strike across the west coast.

Eastwood features wealthy residential areas filled with tennis courts, expensive houses, luxury gardens, and a golf course, all set against a rural hillside backdrop. The map supports all official modes and all combat sizes, with land vehicles and helicopters available. Notable features include destructible big houses, open roads, sports facilities, and drivable golf carts.

Ice Lock Empire State (Coming December 9)

The Winter Offensive update will introduce a limited-time visual overhaul to the existing Empire State map. Ice Lock Empire State transforms the streets of Brooklyn with snow and ice as temperatures drop well below freezing. This visual update is temporary and tied to the Winter Offensive event period.

Season 1 Weapons and Attachments

Rogue Ops Weapons (October 28)

SOR-300C (Carbine Rifle) - A subcompact carbine featuring a low rate of fire. This weapon is chambered in .300 Blackout ammunition, providing higher damage compared to the platform's 5.56 version.

Mini Fix (Sniper Rifle) - A lightweight, bolt-action sniper rifle designed for aggressive Recon soldiers. The weapon takes inspiration from the Scout Elite from previous Battlefield titles.

GGH-22 (Sidearm) - A high-capacity pistol featuring a high fire rate but low damage output. This sidearm is designed as a backup option when primary weapons run dry.

California Resistance Weapons (November 18)

DB-12 (Shotgun) - A dual-barrel pump-action shotgun that feeds from two separate tubes. One trigger pull fires a shell or slug from one barrel, a second pull fires from the other barrel, and then the pump action rechambers both barrels simultaneously. This weapon is unlocked at the end of the California Resistance bonus Battle Pass path. The availability of this weapon after the Battle Pass path expires on December 9 remains unclear.

M327 Trait (Sidearm) - An eight-round revolver featuring high damage and a low fire rate. The weapon is effective at close range but suffers from considerable damage drop-off at distance. Unlocked through the Season 1 Hardware 3 challenge.

Winter Offensive Weapons (December 9)

Ice Climbing Axe (Melee) - The only new weapon arriving with Winter Offensive is this melee tool designed to complement the existing category alongside knives and the sledgehammer. Despite the name, the weapon does not enable climbing mechanics.

Attachments

Season 1 introduces three new attachments:

Rail Cover (October 28) - Available for various rifles and light machine guns.

Low Powered Variable Optic (LPVO) (October 28) - Also available for rifles and light machine guns. Both the Rail Cover and LPVO are designed to make players reconsider their attachment point allocation.

Slim Handstop (November 18) - An underbarrel grip attachment offering an alternative choice in this category with a unique blend of ergonomic and handling changes. Unlocked through the Season 1 Hardware 4 challenge.

New Vehicles

APC Traverser Mark 2 (October 28)

This Armored Personnel Carrier seats four players: one driver, one roof gunner, and two backseat passenger side gunners. The vehicle functions primarily as an infantry support platform.

New Game Modes

Strikepoint (October 28)

An intense small-team tactical mode designed for 4v4 combat. Squads fight against each other across multiple rounds to capture a key objective. Each player has only one life per round, making tactical decisions and team coordination crucial.

Sabotage (November 18)

An 8v8 mode where each team gets one round to attack and one round to defend. Attackers aim to detonate as many sites as possible before the round timer expires, using any means available from their arsenal. The team that successfully detonates the most sites wins.

Additional Features and Content

Battle Pickups (November 18)

Veterans of the Battlefield franchise will recognize this returning feature. Unlike loadout weapons, Battle Pickups are high-tech, powerful weapons with limited ammo that are hidden throughout maps. Their exact locations are not revealed, leaving squads to discover them. Battle Pickups are only available in specific experiences and Portal.

Rodeo Gauntlet Round

A vehicle-focused combat mode where teams fight over and battle each other using vehicles, with extra points awarded for kills achieved while in a vehicle.

California Resistance Battle Pass Bonus Path

The California Resistance phase introduced 11 extra rewards through a limited-time Battle Pass bonus path. Most rewards are cosmetics available free to all players. This bonus path expires on December 9 when Winter Offensive begins.

Ice Lock Limited-Time Event (December 9)

Winter Offensive centers around a Limited-Time Event featuring a gameplay modifier called "Freeze." This modifier is only active in specific experiences. Further details about how this mechanic functions have not been revealed.

Portal Builder Tool Support

All new maps, weapons, modes, vehicles, and features added during Season 1 are available for creators to incorporate into Community Experiences using the Portal Builder Tool.
