A win in Tarkov Arena pays out across several progression tracks at once. Ranked victories add ARP to your profile, which determines your competitive rank and gates access to higher preset tiers with better weapons, armor, and meds. Both wins and losses feed weapon experience, so the kills you score during a winning run keep leveling individual guns and unlocking attachments that carry over to any compatible weapon. Roubles drop into your Arena wallet for buying gear and presets in the Armory, and PMC skills tied to combat actions tick up as you play. Because character level and weapon mastery are shared between Arena and the main game, every win you bank also pushes progression you'd otherwise grind through raids.

Not every Arena win counts the same. Ranked modes are where ARP changes hands, and they're the modes most players want carried. Teamfight is the headline 5v5 format, with a side switch and a first-to-seven-rounds win condition; rounds end when one team is fully wiped or by capturing an overtime objective if the timer runs out. Shootout runs as a round-robin in solos, duos, or trios, with the top two teams meeting in a best-of-three final. Unranked queues exist for casual matches, but they don't move ARP, so a wins boost almost always targets ranked. The win itself, the kills you bank during it, and the reward payout afterward all scale higher in ranked, which is why a ranked grind eats so much time when you're doing it solo.

Tarkov Arena's win economy is unforgiving. Rounds are short, there's no respawn, and one missed trade can drop a round you should have closed. ARP losses scale with the gap between you and your opponents, so a losing streak against higher-rated players bleeds rating fast. Matchmaking also tightens at the top, pulling in coordinated teams instead of solo queue stacks. To win consistently, you need solid game sense, a preset built for the class you're filling, and four teammates pulling the same way. That combination rarely lines up in random queues, which is why dedicated Arena players turn to a boost when they want a specific number of wins without the bracket lottery.
