Guild Wars 2 has eight crafting disciplines, each producing a different category of gear or items. Armorsmith covers heavy armor, Leatherworker handles medium armor, and Tailor makes light armor. Weaponsmith builds melee weapons, Huntsman covers ranged options like longbows and pistols, and Artificer focuses on magical weapons such as staves and scepters. Jeweler crafts trinkets, Scribe produces guild hall decorations, and Chef rounds out the list with food and utility consumables. Material costs scale alongside, with higher-tier components pulling from trading post prices that fluctuate constantly. Most players who level a single discipline solo end up spending hundreds of gold on materials plus hours researching the cheapest recipe routes. A GW2 crafting boost cuts through that overhead by handing the routing, sourcing, and time investment to someone who has already done it dozens of times.

The two crafting tiers unlock very different reward sets. Level 400 opens exotic gear crafting and the discipline-specific gifts that feed into legendary weapons, like Gift of Light and Gift of Metal. Most legendary precursor recipes also require at least one profession at 400. Level 500 unlocks ascended weapon and armor crafting, which sits one tier below legendary in stats and is the highest non-legendary equipment in the game. Time-gated daily refinement materials such as Deldrimor Steel Ingots and Damask Patches become craftable at this level, and these feed directly into ascended recipes. Pick 400 if your goal is legendary work on the relevant disciplines, or 500 if you need ascended gear production.

You must have the relevant Guild Wars 2 expansions or content unlocks needed for level 500 crafting (Heart of Thorns or later for ascended crafting). The 0-400 tier works on the base game.

Materials and gold required for the leveling run are covered by your character's existing inventory and wallet where possible. If additional mats or gold are needed beyond what's on the account, your booster will discuss this in the order chat before proceeding.
