The map is built around a hub area with six interconnected sections feeding into seven sealed vaults. Getting through each one isn't just about combat. Vaults require keys to open, and those keys drop from enemies across the map or come from CyberAcme contracts completed before or during the run. Once inside, each vault has its own security challenge that has to be solved before the loot becomes accessible. The challenges escalate as you push deeper, and by the time you reach Vault 7, you're dealing with UESC Prime units, heavy environmental hazards, and the Compiler, a boss encounter unique to Cryo Archive. Most squads hit their limit somewhere around Vaults 4 through 6. The early sections feel manageable, but the combination of tight corridors, aggressive AI density, and other Runners hunting the same vaults creates pressure that snowballs fast. Running the full sequence to Vault 7 demands consistent execution across the entire map, not just clean play in one section.

Cryo Archive holds rewards that don't exist anywhere else in Marathon. The vaults contain prestige weapons with gold mods, including unique weapons found only inside the map. Prestige materials like Alien Alloy and Hazard Capsules, required for high-end faction upgrades, drop here in quantities that standard maps can't match. Superior Keys, which unlock overflow rooms packed with additional high-tier loot, are obtainable through runs. Golden backpacks and shields round out the drop pool. The loadout ante requirement reflects how valuable these rewards are. To enter Cryo Archive, your loadout has to meet the minimum credit threshold, which means you're risking real gear every run. That stake is what keeps most players from farming it consistently. A failed extraction means losing everything you brought, so the gap between squads who know the map and those learning it on the fly shows up immediately in the loot that actually makes it out.

Loot Run

• We will complete your selected number of Cryo Archive runs with a successful extraction secured;

• At least 30,000 credits worth of extracted loot value per run;

• Gold and purple resources are prioritised on extract, including healing items, shields, and weapons;

• Experience for your account and battle pass;

Vaults Run

• We will complete your selected number of Cryo Archive runs with one vault of your choice opened and looted per run;

• At least 40,000 credits worth of extracted loot value per run;

• Gold and purple resources are prioritised on extract;

• Experience for your account and battle pass;

Compiler Run

• We will complete your selected number of Cryo Archive runs with Vault 7 opened and the Compiler defeated;

• The Cryo Archive cosmetic skin applied to a character of your choice;

• Gold and purple resources are prioritised on extract;

• Experience for your account and battle pass;

Account sharing is required for the Piloted boost method;

Cryo Archive must be unlocked on your account;

• Log in to your account. A chat should be opened, between you and your booster. Say "Hi" and check if they have everything they need to start your order (like account access when doing a piloted boost).

• You will receive an email notification when your boost is completed.

• Piloted - Need assistance? Our expert booster will play your character on your behalf.

• Stream - For a flat fee you will get a private stream link from YouTube, Twitch, or another service provider. The link will be provided by your booster in your order chat.

• Appear Offline - is a service we usually provide by default. We will play while "'offline" or "invisible" and we will never reply to any messages. Note that when playing in a party the "offline" status must be temporarily disabled.
