On Belo'ren, Mythic preserves the 75% vulnerability debuffs from Light Patch and Void Patch but tightens every window around them. Embers of Belo'ren spawn in larger, overlapping waves that force the raid to split DPS assignments rather than burning them one at a time. The Immortal Flame phase gives noticeably less time during rebirth, and even a single GCD wasted on the wrong target can fail the DPS check and trigger a rebirth cycle that bleeds healer mana for the rest of the pull.

Midnight Falls receives the biggest overhaul. L'ura no longer casts Safeguard Prism at all. Instead, Grim Symphony replaces it, launching Death's Dirge without the normal pre-cast animation. Players have to identify Dark Rune patterns on the fly with zero wind-up to react to. Dawn Crystals also gain Light's End, a Mythic-only debuff that triggers massive raid-wide Holy damage and a 500% damage taken increase for ten minutes if any crystal gets destroyed. Crystal management becomes the single most important responsibility in the fight, and a single lapse from one player can end a pull that was otherwise perfect.

Killing Midnight Falls on Mythic awards Cutting Edge: Midnight Falls, a Feat of Strength that gets permanently removed once the next raid tier launches. It sits among the rarest PvE achievements in the game, earned by roughly 1-2% of the raiding population, and serves as the go-to proof of Mythic experience when applying to competitive guilds across future tiers.

Mythic Midnight Falls also drops the Ashes of Belo'ren, a void-tainted phoenix mount descended from Al'ar's last clutch. Three copies drop per kill while the raid remains current content, but the drop rate plummets to roughly 1% after the Midnight expansion ends. Current-tier Mythic kills are by far the most reliable way to add this mount to your collection.

A full Mythic clear also earns the Light of the Party achievement, which awards a Gleaming Sunmote. This item unlocks additional visual effects on your Tier 35 helmet and shoulder transmog appearances across your entire warband.
