1. Pick your region and how many Mythic bosses you want defeated, from a short Great Vault run to a full 8/8 clear ending with Ula'tek.

2. Choose Self-Play to sit in the raid on your own character, or Piloted to hand over the keys and return to a finished run.

3. Select a loot option. Group Loot puts you in the rolls, Armor Type and Token Priority hands you the armor and class set tokens you need, and Full Gear Priority gives you first claim on every drop.

4. Confirm your start window in the order chat, where your booster will tell you what they need before the first pull.

5. Collect your loot, achievements and Great Vault progress once the selected bosses are down.

Mythic loot in The Venomous Abyss scales with how deep you go, which makes boss count the main decision here. Nek'zali the Soulcoiler drops 318 item level gear, the Entombed Sentinels and The Lost Explorers 321, and Vashnik the Malignant, Sszorak and The Twin Fangs 324. The Coiled Altar and Ula'tek sit at 344, above the intended Myth curve, so those pieces land fully upgraded and never need a crest.

Great Vault raid slots follow separate thresholds: two Mythic kills unlock your first choice, four unlocks the second and six fills all three. Five encounters also drop class set tokens, and Ula'tek drops the Slumbering Coil Curio, which converts into any set slot you still need.

Heroic covers most of the gear curve, but three rewards never appear below Mythic. Cutting Edge: Ula'tek requires killing Ula'tek on Mythic during Midnight Season 2, and once the next raid tier opens it converts to a Feat of Strength and can't be earned again. That same kill awards Mythic: Ula'tek, and with it the Venom's End title.

The mount is worth moving on. Primeval Skyfriend drops from Mythic Ula'tek, and each kill hands out three copies until the next expansion launches, after which it drops to a rare chance.
