Arc Raiders Flashpoint (Version 1.22.0) drops tomorrow, March 31, 2026, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Embark Studios has published a full breakdown covering everything in the update, from two new Arc enemies to a reworked Scrappy companion system and two new map conditions.

New Enemy: The Vaporizer
Flashpoint adds the Vaporizer, a new Arc drone. It's similar in form to the Firefly and Comet from February's Shrouded Sky update, but attacks with a laser rather than fire or explosives. It travels in groups, which makes it a different kind of threat than the solo Arc units players have been dealing with so far.
The Shredder Is Spreading
The Shredder, the Arc unit with a shotgun burst attack that's been roaming Stella Montis since late last year (and was recently ranked the deadliest Arc in the game), is now showing up in new locations. Starting March 31, players will find it in Blue Gate, Buried City, and Spaceport. It'll also appear in Dam Battlegrounds under certain conditions, though Embark hasn't specified what triggers that.
Two New Map Conditions
Close Scrutiny takes over from Shrouded Sky's Hurricanes as the active rotating event. It revolves around the Arc Assessor, a heavily guarded unit that drops rare components on death. Multiple Raiders in the same session will be competing for the same loot.
EM Surge is a new environmental weather event that knocks out electronic weapon attachments. Thermal sights, laser designators, and similar tech flicker or fail completely when the storm hits. The new Grounding Augment keeps loadouts functional during a surge. Iron sights and analogue attachments are unaffected. Sparking patches on the ground mark incoming lightning strikes.
New Aerial Threat: The Sentry-Class Harvester
Flashpoint also adds the Sentry-Class Harvester, a new aerial unit focused on area denial. It deploys gravitational tethers to yank Raiders out of cover or force them into the path of ground units. Sentry-Class Harvesters patrol the richest POIs during EM Surge windows and announce their presence with a low, rhythmic mechanical thumping.
New Weapons and a New Deployable
Two new weapons arrive with Flashpoint: the Dolabra Energy Shotgun and the Canto SMG. Embark hasn't published stat details for either ahead of launch.
The Surge Coil is a new deployable that periodically electrifies the surrounding area, offering passive protection between activations.
Scrappy Gets Smarter
Embark had teased changes to the Scrappy companion earlier this year, and Flashpoint delivers them. A new Priority Filter lets players program Scrappy to focus on specific materials like ARC Alloys or Motion Cores and skip common junk entirely. Previously he grabbed whatever he came across. The rework cuts down on sorting between raids for players farming specific crafting components.
Crafting Changes
Embark says the crafting system has been reworked to reduce time spent building loadouts between raids. No specifics were shared before launch.
New Player Projects
Two new Player Projects go live with Flashpoint.
The High-Gain Antenna adds a new objective track and reward path. Embark hasn't detailed the rewards yet.
The Weather Monitoring System is accessible through the Projects tab in Speranza. It's a project with several stages that sends players into EM Surge zones to gather sensors and atmospheric data. Completing it earns the Anemometer Backpack Charm, 250 Raider Tokens, and the Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival) Augment.
New Quests and Balance Changes
Flashpoint adds new quests and a round of gameplay adjustments. Embark didn't publish the full list of mechanical changes before launch.
PS5 Pro: PSSR Support
PS5 Pro players get PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) support with Flashpoint. The upscaling sharpens image clarity in dense foliage and improves frame stability in heavier scenes.
Cosmetics: The Wasp Hunter Set
The Wasp Hunter set launches with Flashpoint at $20. It includes the Wasp Hunter outfit with four color variants, an Oxygen Tank backpack, a Scrappy helmet, a Raider Tool, and 2,400 Raider Tokens.
Three more bundles are confirmed for April: the Brigade Set, Vanguard Set, and Nascosto Set. Release dates for all three are still TBD.
What Comes After Flashpoint
Flashpoint is the third of four major updates in Embark's 2026 Arc Raiders roadmap. Headwinds launched in January, Shrouded Sky in February, and Flashpoint arrives tomorrow. The fourth update, Riven Tides, is due in April. Embark has described it as potentially the biggest of the four, with a new map, a new large Arc threat, another map condition, and an expedition window all confirmed.
