Blizzard has unveiled the December 2025 Trading Post rotation for World of Warcraft, closing out the year with winter-themed cosmetics and two significant additions previously locked behind real money purchases. The Kalu'ak Crest-Horn mount leads this month's offerings alongside the Soaring Sky Fox, which makes its Trader's Tender debut after being exclusive to the cash shop Sky Witch Pack.
Players can access the December rotation at three Trading Post locations. Stormwind houses T&W (Tawney and Wilder) outside the Mage District, while Orgrimmar players visit the Zen'shiri Trading Post next to Grommash Hold. Dornogal's Foregrounds on the Isle of Dorn features representatives from both factions.
Two Mounts Available for Trader's Tender
The Kalu'ak Crest-Horn costs 500 Trader's Tender and features lore tied to tuskarr conservation efforts. According to its description, the tuskarr named these moose mounts "Kalu'ak" as a warning to poachers targeting them for their unique antlers rather than as a claim of ownership.
The Soaring Sky Fox runs 750 Trader's Tender and represents the first time this flying fox mount has been available outside the cash shop. Its description calls it "the most loyal and loving fox on Azeroth."
Free Mount Reward Returns Scarab Mount Line
Completing the Traveler's Log this month awards the Sapphire Resonating Crystal, which grants the Jeweled Sapphire Scarab mount. This color variant joins the Jeweled Copper Scarab from January 2024 and 2025's Trading Post and the Golden Regal Scarab from Dragonflight's limited-time gold sink store.
The mount's lore describes it as an ornate jeweled statue gifted to a young Tol'vir Princess and brought to life by the Gemseers of Ramkahen. Players fill the progress bar in the Traveler's Log (accessible via Shift-J in the Adventure Guide) by completing various activities throughout December.
Bundled-Up Bob Joins Pet Collection
December's pet offering is Bundled-Up Bob, a seal wrapped in a blue hoodie available for 250 Trader's Tender. The pet's description notes this seal species was once native to the northern Eastern Kingdoms but now only appears commonly in Northrend after being hunted for food and leather during the Second War.
Armor Sets Range from Formal to Casual
Five complete ensemble sets make up December's armor offerings, with prices spanning from 100 to 750 Tender.
The Ensemble: Sky Witch's Attire tops the price list at 750 Trader's Tender. This seven-piece set (Head, Shoulder, Chest, Waist, Legs, Feet, Hands) was previously part of the cash shop Sky Witch Pack and now comes with matching weapon options.
The Noble's Winter Collection runs 600 Tender for a nine-piece formal winter set including Shoulder, Shoulder, Head, Chest, Waist, Legs, Feet, Hands, and Back/Cloak slots.
Squall Braced Attire costs 375 Tender and covers five slots: Head, Chest, Waist, Legs, and Feet.
Two budget options sit at 100 Tender each. The Azure Sweatsuit includes Chest and Legs pieces for casual winter wear, while Prowler's Icy Headgear covers the Head slot twice.
Individual armor pieces fill out the rest of the catalog. Both Frostwolf Earmuffs and Lion's Crest Earmuffs cost 170 Tender each. The Frostwolf Hunting Quiver (Back/Cloak) runs 100 Tender, Prowler's Icy Shoulder Cape costs 75 Tender, Azure Winter Toque goes for 50 Tender, and Trapper's Blue Slippers sit at 40 Tender.
Extensive Weapon Selection Mixes Themes
December brings 17 weapon transmogs spanning multiple aesthetic themes, despite the overall winter focus.
The Frozen weapon collection includes four ice-themed options. The Frozen Great Axe of the Frostwolf (Two-Hand Axe) costs 260 Tender, Frozen Warglaives of the North run 175 Tender, and both the Frozen Dirk of the Ice Queen (Dagger) and Frozen Wand of the Ice Queen cost 170 Tender each.
Holiday weapons return from previous December rotations. The Candied Blade (One-Hand Sword) leads at 600 Tender, followed by Cheerbringer XL (Two-Hand Mace) and Great Candied Blade (Two-Hand Sword) at 450 Tender each. Candied Knife (Dagger) and Tree Topper (Staff) both cost 400 Tender, while the Aegis of Yuletide (Shield) runs 300 Tender.
The Sky Witch weapon line matches the armor ensemble. Sky Witch's Airy Stave (Staff) costs 250 Tender and Sky Witch's Airy Wand runs 200 Tender.
Valentine-themed weapons make an unexpected appearance. The Lovely Airy Longbow costs 300 Tender despite breaking from the winter aesthetic.
Remaining weapons include the Frost Marshal's Carbine (Gun) at 200 Tender, Sapphire Scarab Bulwark (Shield) at 100 Tender, and two off-hand items at 75 Tender each: Tome of Cerulean Ciphers and Libram of Azure Light.
Trading Post System Explained
Players with active accounts in good standing automatically receive 500 Trader's Tender at the start of each month from the Collector's Cache. Those without active game time or subscriptions when the month begins get their Tender on the first day they reactivate. The amount stays consistent regardless of payment method.
The Traveler's Log offers up to 500 additional Tender through monthly activities. Players don't need to complete every listed activity since there's a cap on monthly earnings. Activities include completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, running Mythic+ dungeons, and uniquely designed monthly challenges.
The freeze feature lets players lock one item before month's end if they haven't purchased it yet. Frozen items stay available month over month until purchased or replaced. Unspent Tender accumulates and carries forward indefinitely.
December Events Create Multiple Progression Paths
Several events coincide with December's Trading Post. The WoW 21st Anniversary Event runs until December 7, Patch 11.0.7 launches December 2, and the Feast of Winter Veil begins December 15. Legion Remix continues through January 2026.
Players spending time in the Broken Isles during Legion Remix have a high chance of completing Traveler's Log objectives, as many remix activities count toward the monthly completion bar.
Future Trading Post Developments
February 2026 marks the Trading Post's third anniversary, potentially bringing special sales or exclusive items. World of Warcraft: Midnight's expected March 2026 launch may introduce Elf, Void, or Light-themed cosmetics to establish the expansion's visual direction.
