Battlefield 6 launches with eight vehicle classes split between NATO and Pax Armata factions, each fielding their own models for the same role. Main Battle Tanks (M1A2 SEPv3 for NATO, Leo A4 for Pax Armata) are the heaviest armor on the field — four seats, devastating cannons, and the highest durability of any ground vehicle. Infantry Fighting Vehicles like the M3A3 Bradley trade raw armor for mobility and a six-seat capacity that makes them strong squad transport platforms with solid anti-infantry firepower.

Mobile Anti-Air units (Cheetah 1A2 / GE-26 PAX) run one seat with dual autocannons and homing missiles built to deny the sky. Attack Helicopters (M77E Falchion / Panthera KHT) are two-seat strike platforms that shred ground targets with rockets and guided missiles. Transport Helicopters (UH-79) carry five players with minigun positions for squad insertion behind enemy lines. Light Ground Transports offer fast flanking with five seats and a mounted MG. Attack Jets focus on ground-strike runs, while Fighter Jets like the F-97 Kestrel handle air-to-air superiority with stealth systems and air-to-air missiles. Every vehicle in Battlefield 6 has its own Hardware Mastery XP track that runs independently from your Career Rank. XP is earned through kills, assists, objective captures, and repairs performed while operating that specific vehicle. Playing as the Engineer class grants bonus XP for repairs and vehicle damage, making it the fastest class for grinding vehicle mastery.

As mastery levels increase, you unlock three customizable loadout slots per vehicle type. These slots cover primary and secondary weapons (cannons, rockets, guided missiles, miniguns), defensive modules (Emergency Repair, Active Protection, Thermal-Blocking Smoke, Reinforced Plating), and countermeasures (flares, signal jammers). Cosmetic rewards include vehicle-specific skins and universal camos that apply across all vehicles. Badges are earned at Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Elite tiers for each vehicle, feeding into your Total Badge Rating displayed on your player card.
