Luna Snow and Magik are coming to Fortnite. Multiple reliable leakers report that the two Marvel Rivals heroes will receive full skins as part of a second collaboration between Epic Games' battle royale and NetEase's hero shooter.
The leak comes from ShiinaBR and FNBRIntel, both with solid track records in the Fortnite community. Hypex, arguably the most well-known Fortnite leaker, has also weighed in, though he's not certain about exact timing.
Neither Epic Games nor NetEase has officially confirmed any of this information.
Valentine's Day Release Window
Leakers point to February 14, 2026 as the expected release date. The Valentine's Day timing hasn't been locked down completely, but the late January Fortnite update should shed more light on things. That update lands just two weeks before the rumored launch.
Second Marvel Rivals Crossover
This isn't actually the first time these games have crossed over. The Doom 2099 skin launched in December 2024, right when Marvel Rivals was riding its initial wave of popularity. That makes the upcoming Luna Snow and Magik release the second collaboration between the two titles.
Character Selection
Some fans might find the choice of Luna Snow and Magik a bit unexpected. Neither character ties into Marvel Rivals' current Season 5 content or the upcoming Season 6 roster. Newer heroes would've made more obvious promo picks.
The reasoning likely comes down to freshness. Both characters have unique looks in Marvel Rivals that set them apart from typical comic book appearances. A Deadpool or Rogue skin might feel redundant since those characters already exist in Fortnite. Luna Snow and Magik bring something genuinely new.
Both have stayed popular in Marvel Rivals' competitive scene since launch, with dedicated followings.
Who is Luna Snow?
Luna Snow plays the Strategist role in Marvel Rivals, focusing on support and healing. She's a relatively modern Marvel character with unusual origins. Rather than debuting in comics, Luna first appeared in Marvel Future Fight, a mobile game.
In Marvel lore, she's both a K-pop performer and a superpowered hero. That pop star angle could tie into Fortnite Festival nicely. Her bundle might even include a Jam Track, though leakers haven't confirmed any specifics.
Magik Brings X-Men History
Magik carries far more comic book legacy. She first appeared in 1975's Giant-Size X-Men #1, making her nearly 50 years old as a character. She's Colossus's younger sister and wields both sorcery and her signature Soulsword.
In Marvel Rivals, she fills the Duelist role with an aggressive, damage-focused playstyle. Anya Taylor-Joy portrayed the character in 2020's The New Mutants film.
Likely Cosmetic Items
No pricing or bundle details have leaked, but the characters' signature gear makes some cosmetic choices pretty obvious.
Magik's Soulsword seems like a natural Pickaxe option. Her dragon companion Lockheed, while less prominent in Marvel Rivals than in comics, could work as Back Bling or a Sidekick item. No word yet on whether LEGO styles will be available at launch.
For Luna Snow, the Fortnite Festival connection is the most intriguing angle, though nothing's been confirmed.
Current Item Shop Rotation
Fortnite's South Park collaboration kicked off last week and currently dominates the Item Shop. The Arcane sisters and Master Chief recently rotated out without major replacements taking their slots.
The Luna Snow and Magik skins could fill those openings once the South Park promotion winds down.
Marvel's Fortnite History
Marvel characters have appeared in Fortnite for years. Multiple Spider-Man variants, various X-Men, and dozens of other heroes have made their way into the game. Some Marvel Rivals roster members already have Fortnite counterparts, including Gambit, Rogue, and Psylocke.
That overlap means plenty of players are already familiar with both games.
More Waves Expected
Marvel Rivals has added over 10 heroes since its December 2024 launch, and NetEase shows no signs of slowing down. Leakers expect the Fortnite collaboration to expand beyond just these two characters.
Future waves could bring at least two skins each as Marvel Rivals keeps expanding its roster.
Platform Availability
Fortnite runs on PC, consoles, and select mobile devices. Official announcements will likely come around the late January update or closer to Valentine's Day.
Still no word from Epic or NetEase. All release details remain unconfirmed for now.
