Marvel Rivals December 18 patch kicks off a month of holiday content for Season 5.5. The update goes live at 9:00 AM UTC with no server downtime required.
Gone Nutty For Gifts Event

Gone Nutty For Gifts ditches the standard pass leveling system for something different. Players complete missions to earn Acorns, then spend those Acorns to unlock rewards from a Christmas tree interface. The tree has 28 total rewards split between two decoration types: cookies (free rewards) and presents (premium rewards).
Free Rewards
Magneto's Black & Gold costume sits on the free track. Players can unlock it by completing missions and claiming cookie decorations without spending any money.
Premium Pass
The premium pass is expected to cost 990 Lattice, though that price isn't officially confirmed yet. Buying in unlocks access to the present decorations, which include Squirrel Girl's Tinsel Tail costume and Winter Soldier's Winter Buckaroo costume. Premium pass holders also receive two golden acorns immediately and keep permanent access to unlock rewards after the event ends.
Jeff's Winter Splash Festival

The popular LTM returns with a full overhaul. NetEase has revamped both the mode and the Jeffland map with new visual styles and additional gameplay options.

Winter Gift: Running December 24-27, 2025 (starting at 12:00 AM UTC), this mini-event lets players visit the Times Square Christmas tree daily for a random Unit reward.
Pym Test Kitchen - Pym-ini Sandwich: Starting December 18 at 9:00 AM UTC, the Pym Test Kitchen in Times Square opens for a taste-testing event. Details on rewards remain vague.

Three new character bundles hit the store December 19 at 2:00 AM UTC and run until January 16, 2026: Peni Parker's Snow-SP//dr Bundle, Star-Lord's Starcracker Bundle, and Daredevil's Not Daredevil Bundle.
Emotes and Chromas
Also arriving December 19 at 2:00 AM UTC: the Take a Seat Emote Combo Bundle adds new animations for The Punisher, Mantis, and Peni Parker. Jeff the Land Shark gets the Blizzard Ball Emote plus two new Cuddly Fuzzlefin chromas (Powder Pink and Blue Blizzard).

Bug Fixes
All Platforms
The patch addresses three platform-wide issues. A rare pink screen rendering bug tied to NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation is gone. Squad voice chat no longer breaks at match start, fixing an issue that prevented mic use. Blade's frame rate problems when using his Eclipse Edge Team-Up Ability have also been resolved.
Heroes
Rocket Raccoon's Bombard Mode received a fix for portal damage calculation. His Damage Falloff was being miscalculated when shots passed through portals, resulting in lower damage than intended. That's now working correctly.
