The latest Marvel Rivals Season 3 Dev-Talk has been officially released, revealing what players have been waiting for, new heroes Blade and Phoenix, along with new content such as balance changes and Team-Ups. Let's dive into the details about the new, removed, and adjusted Team-Ups in Season 3.

New Team-Ups
There will be 2 new Team-Ups set to be introduced when Season 3 launches on July 11th:
Phoenix will be the anchor for this new Team-Up, infusing Wolverine with the Phoenix Force. The Phoenix Force will be automatically triggered when Wolverine uses his Feral Leap, burning nearby enemies and granting him lifesteal.
This powerful combination brings the cosmic Phoenix Force to Wolverine's aggressive playstyle, making him even more dangerous in close combat situations.
Human Torch will be the anchor of this new Team-Up, channeling his flames into a special gadget for Spider-Man. By activating this Team-Up ability, Spider-Man can shoot a flaming web, dealing area damage and applying a Burn Tracer. This special burning Tracer works similarly to his normal Spider-Tracer, but with an extra fiery explosion.

Adjusted Team-Ups
Aside from the new ones, Season 3 is also set to adjust 2 existing Team-Ups:
Hela will be joining the Symbiote Shenanigans Team-Up. With this Team-Up ability, Hela's Soul Drainer Hel Sphere will be infused with Symbiote energy, lashing out tendrils that link enemies together and slow their movement speed.
The addition of Hela to this Team-Up creates devastating crowd control potential, allowing teams to lock down multiple enemies simultaneously.
Squirrel Girl will be joining the Stark Protocol Team-Up. This Team-Up grants her a new ability, allowing her to deploy a squirrel on a nano-tech gauntlet and turn it into a homing missile explosive, perfect for targeting enemy flyers.
Removed Team-Ups
There will be two Team-Ups removed in Season 3:
- Storming Ignition - Human Torch & Storm
- ESU Alumnus - Spider-Man & Squirrel Girl
- Balance improvements across the roster
- Making room for new combinations
- Enhanced strategic depth
- Better meta diversity
