Tian Wen, Speranza's weapons specialist, needs you to recover scrap materials from abandoned Raider Camps scattered across three different maps. This quest sends you to Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City to locate and search specific hidden locations for salvageable supplies.
You can tackle these objectives in any order. Each location has containers or objects marked with yellow search icons that you'll need to interact with. The mission is straightforward for players comfortable navigating the maps, though you'll need to deal with Arc enemies in some areas.
- Access to all three maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City
- Ability to handle Arc enemies in contested zones
- Understanding of breach door mechanics for the Buried City objective
South Swamp Outpost
The first objective takes you to South Swamp Outpost on Dam Battlegrounds. This point of interest sits in the western part of the map, close to Water Treatment Control.
When you reach South Swamp Outpost, look for a large cylindrical building made from corrugated metal. It looks like a tower and you'll find it in the southern section of the outpost. The tall metal sheeting makes it easy to spot.
Inside this main building, there's a table with documents on it. These documents have a yellow search icon, so you can't miss them once you're inside. Interact with the yellow marker to complete this part of the quest.
Parking Garage Raider Camp
Your second objective is beneath the Parking Garage near Marano Park, toward the center of Buried City. This area gets heavy Arc traffic, including spawns inside the building itself. Bring proper gear and watch your back.
The Raider Camp is on the bottom floor of the Parking Garage, in a room that's mostly buried in sand. You can only reach it through a breach door.
- Enter the Parking Garage building
- Find the breach door in the south-west corner
- Open the breach door to reveal a zipline
- Take the zipline down to the bottom floor
Once you're on the buried floor, you'll see a makeshift living area in the center. Two containers sit near this improvised camp:
- A long case in the central area by the habitation
- A bag just behind the corrugated metal sheeting
Search both containers to finish this objective. You need to interact with both for the quest to progress.
The area has other lootable items scattered around, but focus on these two specific raider containers by the camp setup.
Bilguun's Hideout
Bilguun's Hideout is the trickiest location to find. The hideout isn't at ground level. It's actually on top of a large wall near Container Storage in the middle of Spaceport.
Travel to Container Storage in the center of the map. When you get there, look east. Behind the building complex, you'll see a large wall. Bilguun's Hideout is a large yellow structure sitting on top of this wall. The metal Raider Camp hangs off the side and you can see it from the ground.
From the south: Move to the south side and look for broken sections where the wall has crumbled. Climb up these damaged areas to reach the top.
From the north: Head to the north side and find similar broken sections. Scale the wall using these climbing points.
You might also spot a ladder that gets you to the elevated position. Use whichever access point you find first.
Once you're on top of the wall, walk over to the yellow metal structure. Inside Bilguun's Hideout, you'll find notes with a yellow search icon. Grab these notes to complete the final objective.
This location confuses a lot of players because of where it's positioned. Remember, Bilguun's Hideout is on top of the wall, not down at ground level near Container Storage. If you're having trouble finding it, look up. The yellow structure should be visible above you.
Quest Completion Tips
You can complete the three objectives in any order across separate raids. Each one requires loading into the specific map and traveling to the marked area. Yellow search icons show you which objects to interact with. Quest markers point you toward the general area, but you'll need to search manually for the exact spots.
If an objective doesn't register after you interact with the right containers or documents, here's the fix:
- Exit the current raid
- Start a new raid on the same map
- Go back to the same location
- Try the search interaction again
This usually solves any tracking problems with quest objectives.
Once you've completed all three objectives, you'll have recovered the scrap materials Tian Wen requested. The quest involves salvaging useful materials and information from these abandoned Raider Camps to help stock Speranza's supplies.
